This restaurant is very unique with its atmosphere. It is dark like being in a cave but lit with a warm ambiance. There were 4 of us so we sat in a booth for an early dinner. Though it is dark, there were roof windows so some light was shining through from outside, as well as candles & lamps at the tables. The service was friendly and the food was amazing, one of my favourite meals that I had in NJ. I ordered the Gyro Platter and the portions are large. The meat was tender,...
Food was great. Service wasn’t the best and the place wasn’t even busy when we got there. The real catch is the environment. Decent for what it is. There’s free street parking and there’s a parking lot close by.
In the 40 years that I've been alive this is probably the top five to ten best meals I've ever had. Make the trip, you will be left with a life-long lasting impression. The za'atar is outstanding, every ingrediant is fresh, beyond belief. Our waitress Emani took care of us and was outstanding. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND***From Service to Savoryness!
