Outback is always a pleasure, no matter where it takes me to a restaurant from this chain.Starters tasty, meat perfectly on point, ribs fall off the bone voluntarily and the service is always at the highest level in terms of speed and friendliness.

Been there few times but yesterday service and food was way below standard. Not that the expectations are that high, but minimum good service from the server we had was very poor to say the least.

Honestly, I dislike leaving negative reviews but my experience here was really disappointing so I’m rating it 3 stars when it truly deserves just 1 star. The service was subpar; we had to wait almost 10 minutes for utensils and plates after our appetizers arrived so I ended up getting them myself. I asked one of the staff to bring them, and although he seemed to communicate this to our waitress, she just walked away without attending to it. It might seem like a minor issue, but it reflects a lack of attentiveness. The only good thing was the cocktail to be honest

Don’t go here the food is not only horrendously atrocious but the service has gone completely down the drain, not only did they not give us the free blooming onion. They even tried arguing that we weren’t able to get it when we literally redeemed it online when placing our order. If i could leave zero stars i would.

Sirloin steak was oddly tough, like the steak knife would not cut it all the way through, while cooked medium. $28 for sirloin steak and I had to chew it like dog. Everything else was wonderful. Not an actual compliment. Country music? How about, Men At Work, Midnight Oil, INXS just to name a few Aussie bands off the top of my head.

I want to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at the Outback Steakhouse located at 539 River Rd, Edgewater, NJ, on March 26th, around 5 PM. My experience was marred by incompetence, indifference, and a lack of professionalism.Upon my arrival, there was no bartender present, despite it being a reasonable hour for patrons to enjoy a drink. After waiting patiently for about 10 minutes, I inquired with a waiter about the bartender's whereabouts, but received no clear response. I then saw the bartender emerging from the restroom, which is perfectly understandable, but her subsequent actions only exacerbated the situation.Despite my attempt to place an order for a beer, the bartender was preoccupied and uninterested in serving me. I understand she had other duties to attend, butI've been waiting for some time and she could have put the customer (me) first before housekeeping tasks. I finally got my beer but with an unfriendly attitude. My patience dwindled as time passed, and the situation worsened when my wife arrived and was met with the same disregard at the bar. Not even a "hello" or "can I get you anything?"Feeling unwelcome and ignored, we ultimately decided to abandon our plans for dinner at the Outback. She once again left her station, and I had to request assistance from a waiter to summon the bartender for my bill, the response was lackluster and she begrudgingly appeared from the kitchen to hand me the tab.I left the premises without leaving a tip, which is a rare occurrence for me. However, the level of service—or lack thereof—left me with no choice. I am not advocating for the termination of the bartender in question, but rather urging for comprehensive training to improve her customer service skills.I have never encountered such disregard for patrons. The attitude and behavior displayed were wholly unacceptable and tarnished what should have been a pleasant dining experience.I hope this feedback prompts necessary action to rectify the service standards at the Outback Steakhouse in Edgewater, New Jersey.

This is the first time I’ve been to Outback in Edgewater, NJ. It’s actually the first time I’ve been to an Outback in any state since 2009. I am so glad I walked in on a whim. The host, waitress and runner were fantastic. Thank you Stephanie for a great evening.

Absolutely stellar experience at Outback! Kathy, the owner, was so kind and made us feel so welcome. She brought out a coloring bag for our daughter and a little outback toy. Stephanie, our server, went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. From the ambiance to the service and delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations. Five stars all the way!

I had sat to eat at the bar with someone else and the drink order was taken from my girlfriend but not mine. Her drink was served and it took another 5 mins to get my soda cause the bartender was on her instagram. Then the soda was out so they had to change it out. Then we order food and my girlfriend’s filet mignon and baked sweet potato looked like they dropped it 3 times on the way out to her. My prime rib came out cool, not even warm. The fat on the prime rib looked like wax, thats how cold it was. The plate itself was hotter. The prime rib was sent back to be returned hot and came out as well done as can be on one side as if they pan fried it.As for the service, the bartender was not busy with customers but busy on her phone that left us waiting for drinks and condiments that was asked for. The plates from appertizers, to salad to the bread that was finished was never picked up. The entree came out and they still didn’t take the plates in front of us. They only picked them up when i said can someone please clear these plates.Other customers near us had canceled their coffee & dessert order because it was taking to long. This place has so much potential for good clientele but ruins it with such poor food and service quality. Good luck to them!
