Party of 6 for friends get together. Restaurant was empty on Saturday night, which is good and bad. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Food was mediocre at best. Appetizers were better then mains. Mussels were tasty. Our waiter was trying very hard, however totally lack of experience, he needs a mentor to GUIDE him and teach him about food and wine. Would not make a track to comeback anytime soon.

Where to start? got there early to celebrate a friend being free from Cancer. We all (6 of us) got Inside and sat down right away. It was my 2nd time there and my friends 1st. We got some soft drinks I ordered a Lemonade which I had last time and the waiter told me they had Pink Lemonade I said fine 5 minutes later he came back and said they were out so he could make me a Ice tea/Lemonade ? I said fine. It was very bland...a few minutes later they took our Appatizer order. That took about 25 minutes to come out. I got the Lobster bisque which tastes like it came from a can. Nothing special.. my girlfriend got the stuffed clams and said it tastes like Tuna fish on top of the clams.Nothing special...Main course time I got the fisherman platter chewy calamari, a couple of small scallops and shrimp with 1 Piece of flounder on top.She got the New York strip and said it Was tasteless. The rest of the people in our party said the same thing about what they had to eat.I then went outside to get a cake with writing on top of it to surprise our guest. I bought it in and gave it to The waiter and told him what the cake was for and it was a surprise. I went and sat down he came over to me and told me that there would be $3 per person price for them to cut the cake for us I said fine. After dinner he asked are you ready for dessert I said yes so instead of bringing the cake to us so she could see what it said on top which was congratulations they bought it to us already cut up and you could not see what was said on top.?Bill. Lemonade $5 ea. Lobster bisque $13 ea Cake plate fee $18..The one good thing is the view and the place is very nice..They definitely need to expand their menu get better help and management.By the way for 7pm on a Saturday night they were empty

I really enjoyed my food. I went very close to open so I pretty much had the place to myself. The food was wonderful and it honestly tasted better the second day for leftovers. I ordered the fisherman's platter. It is a lot of food but it allows you to try so many things. I would definitely go back.

Yikes.Arrived for dinner at 7:30 on Saturday night. The door was locked and I almost left because I didn't see anyone inside. Unfortunately a staff member noticed and opened the door for us. The restaurant is gigantic with two bars, two stories of seating and an outside patio with beautiful views of NYC and the Hudson River. Oddly though, it was completely empty (only about 5 or so tables with people). For dinner we ordered the snapper tacos, linguini and clams, and fish and chips. The chef doesn't know how to cook with spices or seasoning. Everything was bland and tasted like nothing. Might as well have been eating dense air, I couldn't have told the difference! Fish and chips were soggy. Linguini and clams arrived with cheese on it. The sauce was incredibly thick and fatty, tasted like alfredo sauce gone bad and did not go well with the dish at all. I woke up in the middle of the night with shaking chills and an upset stomach. Staff was disorganized. Food took way too long to arrive despite the restaurant being empty. We could overhear the two tables next to us complaining about the food and the service. Horrible experience and terribly overpriced. Save your money and go next door to McDonalds.

If you like to eat good food, this is not the right placeThe fish and chips was bad, the chips were more like salt and chips, the fish deep fried thick no taste, it was not eatable. The guacamole was not near to real one, was most likely bought at a supermarket from the freezer. We would never go back to this restaurant.

We went to celebrate our 11th anniversary. Upon arrival, we thought it was closed but it wasn't. We were the only diners there. Maybe it was because it was a rainy Halloween Sunday but we loved it. The food is fantastic. Portions are plenty. The lobster Mac n cheese was amazing with lots of lobster. Red Snapper was savory. Mashed potatoes were not instant. Oysters were fresh. We will return.

Had a great experience at The Yacht Club. Went to have brunch with my daughter and friends and everything was really great. Food was delicious and the service and view were excellent. Would highly recommend this place!

This place has great views, but that's about it. Many items were not available, and the fried shrimp and scallops were terrible. Nothing tasted fresh. What kind of seafood restaurant 'run out' of tartar sauce at lunch?

Went for brunch and I ordered the California Omelette, received my ordered and it had bacon and Taylor ham which was not part of the order. Waiter insisted it's part of the order. The omelette was soggy and apparently the chef was very busy and I guess he got confused!!

From the moment we walked in to the restaurant to the moment we left,it was an unexceptable experience. The restaurant was empty. We ordered cappuccinos ,they were cold. We waited 45 minutes for our food . My daughter is allergic to nuts and told them so, they brought her eggs with multi grain bread which had nuts. By the time she got her omelette we were finished eating. The the omelette was no cooked properly. We also asked for bread since the food was taking so long. It was stale. They were very apologetic and comped dessert . They were stale and the ice cream had ice crystals. All in all a terrible and expensive experience, even though they took omelette off the bill. The only thing good about the restaurant was the view.

Went for my wedding anniversary's customary lobster dinner by the water--we have been doing that with my partner every year for 8 years! This one was the best yet. I will definitely be going back.
