What a fantastic boba tea store!!! One of the best I have been to. They so justify their name of Umai meaning tasty cha (tea). As we walked into the store, the line was out the door. But it moves swiftly, had to only wait about 10 minutes to order. The store has few tables to dine-in. It has a minimalist Japanese vibe. The sells its own merchandise as well.
The menu has some amazing options. We picked the strawberry tea and mango (merry me) lemonade. We got the boba and mango jelly as toppings. Other than drinks that also have small bakery items.
Our order came out with 5-10 minutes. Both drinks had such delightful refreshing taste. The toppings were equally great quality. I am so bumped they only have one store in Bergen county. If I ever driving by River Road, I’ll be surely stopping by them to get some tea from here.

I was going to sit by the sea, but their location has changed it’s now next to the shops. I didn’t try the coffee because it was sold out, but I did try “Kiss Me” and “Marry Me” “Marry Me” was more delicious. The place is very beautiful, and you can take a nice walk by the sea. The view is breathtaking.

Umacha is a good Boba tea place. The pearls are perfect . A variety of flavors and combos in the boba! A good place to study and lock in for school Looks cozy because it is cozy. I would definitely try this out.

I visited Umacha for the first time last year and fell in love with its location, atmosphere, and stunning views of the Hudson River and NYC. Enjoying dessert while taking in the night skyline was magical; all the sparkles made me so happy! The photo booth was a fantastic touch for capturing memories. However, I’m a little sad that this time around, the location has moved next to a shopping area instead of by the river, and it feels like just another bubble tea place. The interior decor is still relaxing and chic, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. It’s worth a visit, but I miss the riverside vibe!

I honestly wish Umacha was closer to where I live. The staff is nice and the drinks are top tier. The new location is low-key better. It can get busy at times so understandably there can be a long line and no seating. Overall, 5 out of 5!

What a beautiful boba tea location! I have only tried Taiwanese boba shops so it was my first time trying a boba shop with more Japanese tea flavors! We ordered their most popular Don Chon - brown sugar milk with boba and cream cheese. We couldn’t change the sweetness for that drink. We also ordered the Jasmine tea with cream cheese with less sugar (50%), less ice, and boba, and the hoji cha milk tea with less sugar and less ice. All were very good. The boba was super warm because we got it from a freshly made batch!
The location is awesome, right by the river. Would be a nice stroll along the boardwalk.
