Not to be confused with DooDoo Dumpling, which tastes like, you know - DooDoo. This was a pretty delightful and cheap dumpling shop inside the New Jersey food court, and having heard the news that the whole food court may be closed down, I'm pretty traumatized because I was looking forward to bringing Barbie back here very soon. Their dumplings are excellent and I hope they're reopening somewhere else if indeed they are closed.

Located inside the food court, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the amount of options. There's like 6 variations of beef noodle soup, and 3 places that do dumplings, and 2 boba places that sell the exact same thing, but somehow manage to coexist peacefully right across from each other. DaDa Dumpling looks small and unassuming - no flashy menu or shiny pictures - usually with someone sitting at front in the process of making dumplings. But out of all the places I've tried, their stuff is the homiest. They have a variety of protein & veggie combinations, in dumpling or wonton form. I've had both, and even tried their lamb version. Very delicious and different! Dumplings are is not a difficult art, but you can taste the texture difference between fresh-flour and frozen. Plus only a handful of bucks for such a huge portion... totally worth it. I go kungfupanda when it comes to dumplings, so I always get two plates =) They also have a mini sauce bar to mix your own... my only request would be if they could convert to reusables plates/bowls and I would be a very happy camper.

So glad I tried the dumplings here. I ordered the shrimp, pork and chives dumpling (#1), and thought they were great! Only $6 for 10 and for an additional $2, you'll get 5 more. It's a great deal! The dumplings come out hot and delicious! I liked the wrapping and meat, which was full of flavor. They also sell uncooked dumplings if you want. No complaints on my first experience here. Next time, I'll try the fried dumplings.

The best dumplings I've ever had! We stumbled upon this place during our lookout for Ramen places. This place is a part of the NJ food court where you can get everything Asian from hot pot to bubble tea. Must try!

This place is part of a food court. I was feeling adventerous and went with lamb dumplings. I did like the herbs that were with filling, though o thought the "gaminess" of lamb was bery strong. I still plan to try the other dunplings in future visits.

Visited soon after their opening. I would expect better dumplings --- thinner skin, better tasted fillings. The people making dumplings in the stand don't seem to be professional at all (by "professional" I mean they should have been trained to do this but what I saw are people spending several minutes making 1 dumpling... no way you can operate a dumpling house with such low efficiency!) To be honest, I can make better dumplings at home... and I'm from southern China where people don't eat dumplings that much. I hope they've improved the quality by now!

Wife went here after I told her about all the great reviews. It's apparently 1 stand in a larger asian food court, which she said smelled awesome. She was overwhelmed by what to order and where, but I knew what I wanted to try from here so we went with the 4, 5, 7 and 10. Wife messed up and got everything in a large, so there were so many dumplings. She also got some spring rolls from another stand. First off, the dipping sauce is diy- and wife did not know how to do it at all. Her 2 attempts were terrible. So basically no sauce. That made me like the fried dumplings more because they had a good bit of sauce inside them. The flavor on the steamed dumplings was really good, obviously hand made, and wife even said she saw them get made to order. Nice. Scallion pancakes were thick, just the way I like them, but again no dipping sauce. So why 1 star? Both of us suffered extreme abdominal discomfort after eating here. It hit wife first a few hours after eating, which I was going to write off as something she had earlier or even just attribute it to her pregnancy. Then 5am hit and my nightmare started. This was the only thing I ate all day, so there was no denying it's what made me sick. I seriously doubt it was the fried spring rolls vs. the steamed dumplings that had me in a cold sweat. Not fun. The next day I took the rest of the dumplings out and tossed them. They smelled terrible- my wife called up from the basement asking what the smell was. I don't think this place is for me.

First time here and ordered pork and cabbage dumplings. Fellow Yelpers didn't disappoint, the skin was wonderfully chewy and of perfect thickness, the stuffing was fresh, not frozen and therefore didn't clump/agglomerate. The fact that it wasn't salty was a huge plus. Will come back again.

Probably the best dumplings I've had in NJ so far. You can dine-in, order takeaway, and also purchase a bag of frozen dumplings to cook at home. The frozen dumplings which taste just as good as the fresh ones. It's very delish! And I have to say the staff here are so welcoming and nice!!

The chicken wonton soup with pork and chive dumplings..... is true homemade soup. The stock has no salt and is fatty and delicious. I got a little piece of chicken bone in the stock which is proof it is freshly made. The wonton got a little too soft for me in the hot broth. By the time the broth cooled down it got soggy. I will come back and get steamed or fried dumplings instead of the soup so the dumplings will be less soft. They have many different flavors of dumplings. I'm excited to try the veggie or lamb dumplings next time I go. True homemade soft dumplings.
