I started going here back in November of 2024. I go on average now about once a week. The owners and staff are great and friendly. I have tried many menu items and cannot pick a favorite. They are all very good. The environment is social, lots of people but not over crowded. There is outside seating and opening to the outside in the bar. They host different events and they are great. Definitely a go to place, with friends or solo.
We’ve been to this bar multiple times with our emotional support animal, always without issue and even with the owner present. Today, we were shocked by how poorly the situation was handled. When we calmly mentioned that we had valid documentation from a psychiatrist as well as the license providing our dog as an emotional support animal - owner became loud, dismissive, and walked away mid-conversation, turning what could’ve been a respectful discussion into an unnecessary scene.
As fellow business owners, we value professionalism and courtesy: two things that were completely lacking in how this was handled. It was rude, humiliating, and disappointing to be treated this way at a local Edison bar we’ve supported. You’re not running a high-end luxury spot in NYC, basic decency toward loyal customers shouldn’t be too much to ask.
