About wooram

Wooram is a cozy spot known for its friendly service and a menu displayed on TV screens. The atmosphere feels homey, making it a great place for enjoying delicious Korean food without the chaos of a busy plaza. The jumbo black bean noodles are perfect for sharing, and the Tangsuyuk sauce is sweet and thick. While more banchan options would be nice, the tasty kimchi makes up for it as it is considered the best by many customers. The restaurant offers generous portions at reasonable prices, with quick and attentive service. Popular dishes include the daro gukbab soup and the spicy squid rice bowl. The steak bi bim ba is a standout at a reasonable price of $15. Wooram has moved to a new independent location just five minutes away from its previous spot in the food court at H Mart in Edison, and it continues to impress with its authentic Korean food. The space is small and clean, but as long as the food is good, it keeps customers coming back.

We were served cold barley tea and it looked like they had water bottles and some sodas to purchase. My 3 year old can't tolerate spicy so we shared the ox bone soup which was surprisingly delicious. He loved it! It came with some noodles and beef inside. I asked for another bowl and the server brought over a small bowl and a ladle. The fried dumplings that had a mixture...read full review

I enjoyed the authentic selection of Korean food and the portion sizes of the dishes, however the mini containers of kimchi don’t come with much flavor, like the fresh, tangy taste of regular kimchi.

#53 spicy pork belly & octopus was our favorite dish. Slightly disappointed with short rib soup(can make at home), gamja tang(TOO spicy), and steamed buns(meat a little sticky, maybe not fresh). Jumbo Udon was huge and we ate it all - pretty good!

The owner was pretty nice. They seem to be popular for takeout or with locals who like the authentic (spicy) dishes. After dining in, i suggest getting takeout instead. No hot tea or fancy sidedishes, and seating area is so...read full review
