“Great dinner out for 8 of us. Food was delicious, service was excellent and everyone is very happy at each table. Enjoyable experience inside the restaurant. Parking is a whole other issue. Very difficult to park because this shopping strip has so many wonderful shops and eateries.”
“Came here with my family on a busy Friday night and the staff members were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. I asked the waitress for some recommendations and it came out perfect, and we were satisfied with what we were recommended. The classic spicy sour fish & beef came out perfect and was not overly spicy. It was delicious and probably the most authentic Chinese fish place. The combo for two also came with the cold noodle, fried cruller and sticky rice cakes. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. A solid addition next to Gong Cha.”
“One of the best places to get xiaolongbao in the area. The soup dumplings are made to order. They are large, the skin is thin for the size and there is A LOT of soup in them. Delicious and affordable. Arrive early if you want a seat when they open on the weekends. There are not many tables so they fill up fast. Tables are small and close to each other. No-frill restaurant. Typical service. Must also try the Scallion Oil Noodles, Chicken in Wine Sauce, and Cucumber appetizer.”
“I used the electronic station to order my food which i thought was pretty cool. They texted me when the food was done so that is incredibly helpful if I didn’t want to wait in the lobby for my food. I loved the bubble tea and the soup dumplings I got. Both were delicious, but nothing too mind blowing. The golden lava buns might need a little bit of work since when I bit into one, the texture of the lava was gritty and sandy. In total, I paid about $$20 for everything which is a pretty good deal.Overall, I would probably stop by here again if it was on my way.Parking: There’s not plenty of parking, but just enough. It is in a very tiny strip mall type area so there’s only so much parking for all the surrounding restaurants and shops.”
“Beef stock and noodles are the delicious! You can see the cooker making the fresh noodles!l, and you can choose in between thick and thing or wide. The dumplings and sauce amazingVegetarian options: Cucumber saladKid-friendliness: Kids can see how they make the noodles, very entertaining!”
“Such an amazing experience we had in Tasty Moment. Everyone says that soup dumplings here are very good but I’d recommend the stir fried udon with beef! Super flavorful and delicious! If you love something spicy and can have with white rice, Mapo Tofu is a great choice. Beef noodles soup is also pretty good. Although we went on Wednesday afternoon, we still had to wait for 20 minutes before there’s a table for us but it’s worth waiting for!”
“Authentic Hong style wonton place with fast service and great food. Arrived here asking noon on a Saturday afternoon and waited around 5 minutes for a table. Once seated, we were quickly given tea and our menus. We all ordered the wonton noodles with egg noodles and curry fish balls. The curry on the fish balls was so rich and creamy, I wish I had some naan to do into the leftover sauce. The wontons were very big and filled with shrimp. Took about 4 bites to eat the wonton! I did find them a tad on the salty side though. Loved the noodles, they were bouncy and cherry at the same time.Service was the fastest ever! If you are looking for somewhere quick and easy, this is the place. Parking in the front is very tight but there is additional parking behind the building, which I recommend. Getting out of the front parking spots is a bit dangerous.”
“First time here and it was actually recommended by a sweet old lady I was speaking to on a train ride back from NYC. I bookmarked it and made sure that I would visit since it’s not far from where I live and where I usually hang out.Walked in on a Thursday night and while the dining room wasn’t busy, there were quite a few people waiting for their takeout orders. Dining room was clean and and well-kept and since it only had a couple of occupied tables, it was quiet. I’d imagine this place gets packed with patrons during lunch considering Metropark is within a half mile and is probably busy Friday nights too.I grabbed a takeout menu and briefly looked it over. I noticed there were no dinner combo specials and decided to double-check with the host and see if there was an incremental charge to make the lunch combo a dinner combo. Host said they do not offer dinner combos and I would have to order a quart of what I wanted. No biggie.Since I haven’t had Chinese food in a while, I was craving some chicken and broccoli with white rice (I usually go with the brown but wanted some Jasmine rice), and fried/steamed chicken dumplings, which they had.Man what a great dinner! The chicken and broccoli was cooked perfectly and was still hot by the time I got home. I laid it on top of the steamed rice and enjoyed every bite. I finished the entire quart in one sitting including the steamed chicken dumplings. The chicken and broccoli was TOTALLY worth it but to be honest, I was hoping the dumplings were going to be the bigger versions stuffed with chicken. The cost of those dumplings didn’t really add up and I felt like they were the wholesale club version.All-in-all I will definitely return for takeout!”
“Probably the best Chinese restaurant ever. Not only are they cheap, but they are so delicious. Lunch is around 8 bucks and dinner is around 10. My go to is the 3 pepper chicken with white rice and egg drop soup. It is consistently well made. I would give more stars if I could but if you haven’t tried it yet, go for it!! If you end up not liking it, it won’t put you back that much.Vegetarian options: You can get veggie egg rolls and also many vegetarian dishes here.Parking: There are many spots available to park. Some you might have to walk a bit”
“Absolutely loved it and it is amazing that it is all halal. Authentic Sichuan food!!! We had the general tso chicken, beef with long peppers, chicken fried rice, and beef lo mein. Everything was cooked to order and it was very nicely made. The beef with long peppers was a little spicy for me but otherwise everything tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend! The restaurant is owned by the neighboring restaurant Tabaq and while it was technically take out only, we were able to sit down at Tabaq to eat the meal we ordered. All in all 5 stars!”
“Weekend lunch buffet available between 12 and 3pm for $20 pp. Small food selection for the price and the flavors were nothing special. Chicken biryani was somewhat disappointing with lack of spices. However, the Asian dishes, especially the noodles were very flavorful. We were the only non asian couple there, which usually is a good thing, but this time we were not impressed. The staff was very nice and inviting, but between the price and lack of selection it's unlikely that we'll be back.”
“If you are craving some soup dumplings or pan fried pot stickers with a nice crunchy skirt, this is the place. I recommend the truffle pork soup dumplings. The shrimp fried rice is pretty good too, add some chili oil to the rice and wow!! The large windows allowing the patrons to see the kitchen making the dumplings is a nice touch. The Ugly Dumpling hits the dim sum spot but I wish the cucumber salad app and the cabbage dish had a bit more flavor. And I’m bummed that they took off some of my favorites off the menu. This place will always be a go to for me. Really enjoyable.”
“Food was delicious! Went here for the first time and the staff was very friendly and nice! I got a portion of sweet/sour chicken, sauce was very appetizing and chicken was well fried. Totally coming here again!Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of open seats for takeout! They have plates, napkins and utensils out!”
“Spicy food is good, the place is vary small. Not enough AC. No parking. Have to park on street.Over all 41/2 start.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: You need to know how spicy ? you can handle.Wheelchair accessibility: None.”
