“I had a great experience at this Venezuelan-Chinese restaurant in the U.S. The food tastes just like back home in Venezuela, authentic, flavorful, and really well prepared. Every dish reminded me of that classic Chinese Venezuelan flavor we love so much. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Overall, everything was excellent and I will definitely be coming back.“

“China Garden is definitely one of the best spots around if you’re looking for affordable and delicious Chinese takeout. The food is consistently good — flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. When you pick up your order directly, the prices are very reasonable. I spent about $18 for two full meals, which is a great deal considering the portion sizes.
Just a heads up: if you order through Uber Eats or other delivery apps, the total can get pretty pricey with fees and markups. So if you want to keep it affordable, picking up is definitely the way to go.
Overall, a great choice for a tasty, budget-friendly meal when you’re craving Chinese!“

“I love this place. Everything here is good and fresh today. I went in there. Just got some soup broth because I’m fasting this time of year. Hot and delicious. I love it. They make great shrimp toast. Also, everything here is good. Fantastic Chinese food place. And the people are always friendly.“

“I like the place and go a lot. The food tastes good and is reasonably priced. They can do better with keeping food hot though. My biggest gripe is the payment rejects Discover but I haven't seen any signs saying Doscover not accepted. That needs to be fixed unless I'm missing the sign despite being there many times.“

“We ordered takeout from B2J Fish Soup, and the experience was fantastic. The soup was incredibly tasty, and the 'mini' size with extra fish was more than enough to feed three people—it’s a great value. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fried milk; I had never tried it before, but the lady was kind enough to give us a sample, and I ended up absolutely loving it. Mild was spicy, keep that in mind. Highly recommended!“

“The environment of the restaurant was amazing! The aroma and taste of the soup was delicious and fulfilling. Definitely would come back again.
Customer service was great. It’s been a while since we visited and they have added several different soup base choices. We went for the basic chicken broth with fish maw, but will definitely try other ones next time.
All the hot pot restaurants in the area are all-you-can-eat, but this one isn’t. However, the quality of the soup stock is way better and the dining environment is quieter.“

“Hot pot is often very hard to eat. Our vegetarian family often struggles to find food not contaminated with meat or fish. At Mala Town, we were very pleased to see how thoroughly the dishes and utensils were cleaned. Furthermore, the food options were vast, fresh and customizable. This place is perfect!“

“We ordered the signature sour fish soup with black cod and it was delicious. Small was enough for the 2 of us.The fish is very fresh and we also ordered the crispy chiong ching chicken and it was also very good and has a lot of flavor. Dispite being surrounded in spicy peppers the spice level was good and has a lot of flavor.
The scallion noodles were fine, personally I thought it was a bit over hyped but for 6 bucks we were happy to try it.“

“Great little casual spot with delicious food, bold flavors, and very reasonable prices. Everything tasted fresh, and the restaurant was full of locals, which is always a good sign!
We ordered the brisket wontons and beef wontons. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and everything we tried was delicious.
My son ordered lo mein, which came with the noodles, dumplings, and soup separately. He accidentally mixed everything together, including the sweet dumpling sauce - definitely don’t do that 😂 The combination with the soup tasted a little strange, but that was completely our mistake, not the restaurant’s!
Nothing fancy, just fresh, flavorful food at a great price. Definitely worth a visit!“

“Vegetarians, don't let the name keep you away: this place is a wonderful option. The soup bases are all vegetarian, as they proclaim on the very first line of the menu.
I got the traditional Chinese sauerkraut soup with two kinds of tofu. Let me say up front that very few foods taste genuinely novel to me, and I love all kinds of fermented vegetables. So the second pleasant surprise (after the great menu) was the flavor of this dish. I simply could not place it. Was it some kind of citrus? Lemongrass? No, the server said, it's really just the fermented vegetables doing it. I still don't quite believe it, but it was not a taste I'd ever ever had.
I am very eager to come back here and discover a few more unfamiliar tastes!“

“Really good food and late nights eats to be quite honest. It’s affordable to people going to Rutgers nearby and quick and easy to get to. Not too far from the yard and it makes it more convenient if you’re a nearby college student or just living in the area. Good eats I’d say“

“Personally, I think this is the best hotpot place in this area. Its a small restaurant but it’s so cozy, the staff is so kind, and the food is delicious. My husband and I always start off with their Sliced Beef and OX Tongue in Chili Sauce ( it’s served cold but it’s so good!). We then get their hotpot ( you can definitely share one order with two people). Their spice level is no joke! - and it’s delicious. We also love their specialty drinks; they’re so refreshing and help cut the spice level from the hotpot.
The staff is so helpful and accommodating. We have baby, and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we are seated comfortably with our stroller by our side. It’s one of the few places that we have found easily fits a full stroller next to our table.
We’ve brought all our family and friends here because of how much we love this place.
The parking space is a little small, but there are plenty of neighboring parking spots that you can use.“

“The staff service is really friendly and attentive all the time; they constantly refill empty food trays and clear the table promptly. The hot pot buffet is amazing, offering a wide range of meats, seafood, vegetables and sauces to customize your broth as you like. All ingredients are fresh and tasty, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are affordable. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends and family.“

“We discovered this restaurant through RedNote and came here directly for lunch. We ordered the pickled fish and fried tofu, and we would strongly recommend both—especially if you love fish and tofu like we do.
The fish was very fresh, and the soup was surprisingly light and flavorful, not oily at all, so you could actually enjoy drinking it. The tofu was excellent as well—it was lightly fried first, then cooked again with onions and green onions, which allowed it to fully absorb the sauce and become incredibly juicy and flavorful.
The complimentary cold dishes were also a pleasant surprise. The potato slices were especially delicious, even though they were free. We also enjoyed another cold dish with onion slices mixed with peanuts, fried tofu cubes, and black mushrooms. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal, and we would definitely come back.“

“This is a truly authentic Fuzhou snack spot. Their *banmian* (tossed noodles) is the real deal—genuine Fuzhou-style noodles. It’s the kind of *banmian* that only someone from Fuzhou could make. It’s even more authentic than what you’d find in New York.“

The food is consistently delicious—the taste has never changed, and every meal feels just as special as the first. Our Favorite Dishes: Garlic Sauce Dish with Chicken and Shrimp: Our absolute favorite—always packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Sesame Tofu: Deliciously crispy with a great sesame flavor. Dry Pot Dish: Spicy, savory, and full of exciting textures. Sichuan Hot & Sour Soup: The perfect balance of heat and tang. Red Curry Dish: Rich, aromatic, and satisfying. “I heard about the Huaiyang cuisine presented at the recent US-China May banquet and had to come try out this restaurant specializing in it. It was very good, my family gives it a 11 out of 10, my aunties loved it especially. Very lowkey ambiance with a great elevated view outdoors to the bustling plaza filled with night lights“

“Tasty Kitchen truly exceeded expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned! The beef and broccoli was tender with a rich, savory sauce. The sushi rolls and Kani Salad were amazing!
The wings were SO crispy and juicy Everything tasted like it was made with care and quality ingredients. We were so content and happy with all our food choices that we got and the variety of food to choose from is absolutely great!
On top of that, the restaurant and kitchen were extremely clean, which made the experience even better and more reassuring. You can tell they take pride not only in their food but also in maintaining a spotless environment.
I’ve lived in the area for about 26 years, and this is hands down the best Chinese/Japanese food in town! Today is the first time we tried their Chinese and we dined in! We had only tried their sushi twice before at a friends house and we loved it so we decided to finally come and take a look ourselves!
Let me tell you I highly recommend Tasty Kitchen if you’re looking for delicious, high-quality Chinese food! Definitely will be coming here whenever we are craving Chinese or sushi!“

“First time ordering here, I had never heard of it despite living in the area, but they had a deal on door dash so I decided to try it out. I have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant since I moved to this area but have so far been disappointed until today. By far the best Chinese food in the area. Generous portions, and tasted great. It even arrived piping hot. It was also packed very well so it delivered perfectly, no mess anywhere. Glad I found this place because its on my way home from work so I will definitely be stopping by again.
I had the orange chicken with fried rice and egg roll, it was great. I also got plain lo mein, it wasnt overcooked like a lot of places, the noodles were still loose and had a nice chew, not just mush, and a scallion pancake which was super crispy. I was really happy with everything!“

“My favorite restaurant in Edison and a restaurant that must be reported almost every week.
Recommended dishes:
Free-range chicken (a classic of Hunan cuisine, the chicken is delicious when killed alive), sizzling squid (not fishy at all, with the aroma of barbecue), dry-pot beef brisket (not too bad, not chewy, just the right texture), smoked bamboo shoots and beef rice noodles (freshly fried toppings, full of pot flavor, personally ranked first in the Edison rice noodle category)“

“A small takeout Chinese eatery with a fairly standard menu selection bearing high average prices. Hong Kong Express serves americanized Chinese fare. Set in a small strip mall, there seems to be adequate parking. Upon entering, the first impression is clean. Featuring newer furnishings, decor and construction. As a child took my order and payment, this is clearly a family business.
So I've only had one dish at this place. I can say for freshness of ingredients, it's excellent. For amount of meat added, average. Unfortunately my dish was extremely bland. I had to add 7 packets of various sauce and that was still not enough. As I make this dish at home, the main sauce is soy. I wish I had grabbed more.
Speaking of sauce, no sauce, forks, chopsticks or napkins were added or offered. I'm glad I checked and added on my own.
This business succeeds in 2 major ways most other Chinese places don't (freshness and cleanliness). I hope I just caught an off dish. I'd return, but until I had a better dish, I wouldn't recommend.“

“The Chinese restaurant we used for years recently changed owners, and was not to our liking anymore. This was our first time ordering here and we were very pleased. I placed an order online and was it was delivered 20 minutes early. We ordered the kung pao chicken (extra spicy) combo, sesames chicken combo and wonton soup. All were tasty and fresh. “Been here a few times. The original location in edison (back in the day) has been my go to for tasty chinese... and I appreciate the spin off locations for more accessibility to good food. I always get (and always love) a few orders of XLB, chicken cabbage rice cakes, and rotate through their spicy noodle features. We had the kids with us last time, so we also added an order of sesame balls.
It's always fun to watch the staff make the dumplings on site, and their XLB is noticiely bigger and juicier than most other places. However, it did seem to fall apart more than I remember - it's always a bummer when they pop prematurely. I also felt their sesame balls could have been fried a bit longer for more crisp, and there was just a general smell of cleaning liquid throughout (authentically Chinese but clashes with the nice decor and stamped napkins & gold plates).
Otherwise a decent experience and most likely will continue to patronize.“
