I have been coming to this place for 20 years and always ordered buffalo chicken pizza. We got our pizza and it tasted bad and looked different. We called to complain and Kevin who claims he does multiple jobs was very rude to us. We called to speak to the owner the next day and he lied by saying our order is never in the system. They claim they bought the place 3 years ago, and we have been coming there forever & never had a issue with any pizza. I LOVED this place. They just lost a customer who has been coming for 20 years. Their system they use sucks also. Get a new system Eddie, invest in your business and maybe you won't lose customers.

I’m not one to typically write a review.
On Christmas Eve 2025 I ordered a large pie and a large calzone with ham.
I was surprised when the bill was $45. I was too embarrassed to start complaining especially on Christmas Eve so I sucked it up. When I went home I checked their menu and a large pie is $11.95 and a regular calzone is $11.00. I did ask for a large calzone with ham but it definitely does not justify doubling my bill. Plus the pizza is mediocre at best.
I’m new to the area. I gave them a shot. Never again.

Me and my co-workers have been coming here for a couple years, about once or twice a week. We've never had a bad meal, everything tastes fresh and delicious. Everything from their pasta dishes, pizza, freshly made salads and sandwiches are amazing. All of the food is fairly priced and its very convenient. These guys go above and beyond to satisfy their customers, keep up the amazing work.

It was our very good fortune to walk into Menlo Pizzeria this evening! The staff were all very friendly & personable. The owner went above & beyond & gave us great service. The food was absolutely delicious from the garlic knots, to the pizza. And then, the sweetest surprise…warm & tasty zeppoles! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top notch service & delicious food. Thank you!!

I had the WORST experience with two people on the phone. I tried ordering one pizza to my job and I am only 2 minutes away from the restaurant. I was quoted 15-20 minutes, 30 minutes later nothing. 3 phone calls later I was told it was on its way and they changed the benchmark to 30-45 minutes. I reluctantly canceled the order after 40 minutes of nothing, she was SO RUDE and hung up on me, refused to give any type of discount or even any type of politeness. I won’t be trying to order again.

A friend recommended we got lunch here and it was the best advice I’ve taken in ages. My husband enjoyed his slice but the shrimp quesadilla was excellent. Thank you

A blessing to the community it serves.
i only recently discovered this pizza spot while looking for places to grab a quick lunch while at work. it’s so hard to find decently priced food that’s quality and filling these days for under $20. alas here is menlo pizza i called in for a chicken Caesar salad (trying to be healthier these days) and it was and is absolutely delicious. what set this place apart for me from all the places you can get a chicken cesar salad is the little mozzarella pearls they add in SUCH a good little surprise to bite into as well as it includes a nice little bread on the side. a size small is super filling and only $10 most places charge way more than that for a salad with less and not to mention it’s a HEALTHY option which is also hard to find these days. the staff is so kind and personable you can tell this is a business ran on integrity, kindness respect and humility. May God Bless this small business & a big Kudos to the staff and owners for the grace in which they serve their community. Thank you!

6.3 on a 10 point scale. The pizza is very mid. Extreme flop, minimal crisp, grease dripping after folding slice to take a bite and sauce is meh. The garlic knots were great. I did not ask for sauce as I normally would to take the knots for a swim in because I feel the sauce would have taken away from knot. However, there aren’t any really good pizzerias in Menlo mall area. Unfortunately, the best pizza in that area belongs to a chain: Anthony’s Coal Fire takes the best pizza in that area for me. 2nd would be L&L which is in Metuchen so that really would be a different area since Menlo is in Edison. Anyway, I usually would be vehemently against saying go to the chain over mom and pop establishment, however, if you’re in the mood for pizza then Anthony’s Coal Fire is the place to go. They are a 7.7 on a 10 point scale imo.
