Food is ok .. service at the ordering counter is very disorganized.. for example - they don’t put any name tags on sweets so it’s hard to explain what you want and then girl taking the order looks at you as if you don’t know what and how to order .. same goes for other orders . After you place the order , there is no visibility if it’s done or not . Sometimes if you go and check on status , it irritates them and at other times your order is just sitting there getting cold ..
Overall they give you a vibe as if they are doing you a favor by taking your order . Just not a pleasant experience .

Good vegetarians restaurant. But service is not so good. You have to wait for 30 mins to 1hr which is very frustratating. It's sweets is exceptional in usa as like perfect indian sweet.you can try atleast once here.

Ordered the veg burger. Comes with a side of curly fries. The bun was way too buttery and also too big. Patty wasn’t the tastiest, but passable. There were sliced cucumbers and tomatoes inside with not enough sauce. Was about $12.xx! Overall, I find it overpriced for the quality and taste.

Mithaas belongs to Arora hospitality/Moghul catering .It has several locations but I always ended up visiting Edison one. I have never had any complains for their fresh food . Always delicious, except last Thursday I ordered parathas to take home since I had long drive back home and assorted sweets. Mithras I thought is known for it's fresh sweets, horribly wrong... white penda has chemical taste, mathura penda has slight less chemical taste. Melon balls are good but dry . and rose burgh has no rose flavor just the color. Parathas were salty. Could not eat kind of salty. As I said I have had their food before and never had complain but this was fresh food wise not a good day... and I have to say I have had boxed sweets better than this. Your hospitality group caters on almost entire east cost. quality has to be the first rate everyday , anytime.

I have visited Mithaas last week and I had a very bad experience with the staff working there. I always ready with my orders but the lady at the counter was not ready to take the order and asked me to sit at the table. She was very rude and manner less person. I asked for the manager but she said manager is not there that also very rudely. This is not acceptable with customer. We come to eat coz we heard from a friend that the food is good. But if this thing happens no one will tolerate.

The Dal Tadka was great and I believe it was vegan, but the roti was almost certainly covered with ghee despite my clear questions and requests. Not a good restaurant to go to if you are not Indian.

Very slow service.Simple items like samosas take over 30 mins or more. Masala chai tastes like cardamom water. You can see the staff arguing among themselves even during a busy hour. Pathetic service and not so great food The good thing is the interiors and music.
