Best halal food in NJ. Chicken and lamb platters are by far the best I have taste. Gyros are also so good. Food is seasoned to a T. This my go to spot for good food. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

I wish i can give negative or ZERO. Guys who work here are absolute unhygienic and they have no sense of customer service. They server you food as if they are doing a favor to you. Plus most of the food they server is frozen ( Falafel, fries). So eat at your own risk......

It's been a while since I've had C&R. But this place brought back memories of standing in line on 53rd & 6th. Most importantly, the flavor was reminiscent of NYC carts. I was worried that it would become dry in the time it took the delivery to get to us but that wasn't the case. Even when I ate leftovers 3 days later, it was pretty good. Needless to say, next time I have a chicken & rice craving, I know where I'll be ordering from.

This will definitely be my go to spot for halal bowls in edison now. The lamb was declines and cooked perfectly. Loved the ample greens and rice, and I didn't even need to ask for them to load it up with white sauce which is my favorite. The mango lassi was also perfectly sweet and yoghurt-y.

The service was standard, no complaint but the food... First off the fries portion is small. The lamb gyro platter was not good and it smelled like bad meat. The lamb gyro looked like ground beef, couldn't finish the food.

Gentleman at the counter very nice. Chicken bowl is so good - reminds me of NYC. Chicken is very moist, spicy sauce sooooo good. Salad nice and fresh. Delicious

I discovered this place awhile ago and it never misses! The lamb platter is delicious. I think it’s better than the chicken. This places style of lamb is more chopped up and less chunky than other halal places. I enjoy this style more so if you don’t maybe avoid the lamb! They give you a pita with the friend and the salad is cucumbers onions and tomato. Be careful, the hot sauce is very hot so I usually only get 1 or 2 lines of it!

LOVE this spot! I usually come here about once a week for the chicken rice platter. The hot sauce is spicy if you're not used to spice but I typically get 3 lines of the hot sauce and it will have me sweating half way through my meal. Writing this review has me craving it now. Go try it out!
