It's been a while since I've had C&R. But this place brought back memories of standing in line on 53rd & 6th. Most importantly, the flavor was reminiscent of NYC carts. I was worried that it would become dry in the time it took the delivery to get to us but that wasn't the case. Even when I ate leftovers 3 days later, it was pretty good. Needless to say, next time I have a chicken & rice craving, I know where I'll be ordering from.
This will definitely be my go to spot for halal bowls in edison now. The lamb was declines and cooked perfectly. Loved the ample greens and rice, and I didn't even need to ask for them to load it up with white sauce which is my favorite. The mango lassi was also perfectly sweet and yoghurt-y.

Best halal food in NJ. Chicken and lamb platters are by far the best I have taste. Gyros are also so good. Food is seasoned to a T. This my go to spot for good food. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
