In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Service was decent, but explain to me why I’m being prompted for a tip on a plain black coffee? That’s awkward enough. What really sealed the deal was after I actually tipped, my dog didn’t even get a pup cup. So basically, I paid extra for… nothing. Bravo.
