My wife and I like this place. We go pretty regularly but the process have gone up quite a bit over the last two years. 95% of the time, the food is really fresh and tastes great, but there are a few times when the quality was just off. Not enough to deter us from coming back, but enough that I couldn't give it 5 stars. On the positive side, the atmosphere is cozy and casual, and the place is pretty small so it doesn't get too loud even when it's busy. I think both the regular menu and the all you can eat menu are worth trying, just make sure you are very hungry so you feel like you are getting your money's worth.

Really good food, terrible, aggressive service. First date night out in awhile and it was really a waste of a night. I don't know what it is about all you can eat sushi spots but it's really unbearable. We were getting 2 all you can eat and a bento box for my son and the questions just didn't end, even after saying I was gonna order him chicken teriyaki. They made no extra effort serving a 4 year old either like when I stated sauce on the side for said teriyaki, then they take the whole box away to bring back sauce less chicken. If they had and class or cared about service they would have left it and just bought out another chicken, really are they gonna serve that to someone else? After that it was just pure aggression, we couldn't get more drinks or water, we didn't get any eye contact when given napkins, just left there so tense and upset it really wasn't worth it. The cost of everything these days it really hurts more spending so much money on bad service. Maybe try it for takeout because the food really was delicious and fresh. Fire these mean girls!Kid-friendliness: They really aren't interested in catering to picky eaters or kids who like things how they like them.

My friend/coworker and I were just fired. Both of us are high school students working on tight schedules. I usually worked Fridays and Saturdays and would only cancel due to sickness and rarely due to my own personal stuff. I told them two weeks in advance that I was studying for exams and therefore couldn’t go to work for two weeks, until today. Simple miscommunication with the other manager and he thought I couldn’t come in today either, so I came in today just to leave five minutes later. After I get home, I receive the message that the other manager says I can’t work anymore because I skip Fridays and Saturdays too much—like they couldn’t just tell me while I was there or warn me beforehand.By the way, waitresses don’t get to take home the tips directly handed to them even when they’re praised for their work. You’re welcome.

SUSHI SAGA WAS RACIST! I did not get the waitress name who works on Friday around 2:41pm ET. But I walked in right behind a white patron literally 30 seconds ahead of me. He parked next to me and walked in, they served him no problem sat him down and gave him a piece of paper to do the all you can eat before 3pm when the schedule changes. She proceeds to me to tell me I cannot get the all you can eat menu just order off the dinner menu, after I just see him sit down and write on the paper for his order. She must believe his money or tip would be better than mine because why did I not get the same service or fairly given the opportunity to get all you can eat sushi just like the white male who walked in the door 30 seconds before me. Literally. Short waitress with glasses, heavier set lady, young, do not have her name but she just did this minutes ago on 2/9/24.

I specifically asked for details before ordering about pricing for my kids. After I ordered they changed their answer about pricing, admitted that they made a mistake but wouldn’t take responsibility and fix it. I work very close to this place and was coming regularly for lunch. I will not be coming again, will not change this review, and left zero tip for the first time in my life. The food is really not good anyway. I even had to send edamame back because they smelled bad. Avoid this place!! Gas station sushi would be better.

Tehcnically, food is OK (used to be better - wish they have the marinated ribs appetizer back!) but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! Servers seem like always in a bad mood. I came a lot with friend (at least more than 10 times!!) and the service always been like that ---> BAD!!

Whoever thinks this is good sushi, has not had good sushi. I picked up an order of green salad, a special roll and gyoza. The dressing for the salad was not fresh like it is most places, the gyoza was just ok, but the sushi roll was really bad. It listed three types of fish and avocado in the roll but not every piece had all ingredients, lol. The rice was really pressed together and a bit chewy (yuck!) and it did not include crunch like it said on the menu. I could just tell it was low quality. I'm used to Momataro in Clark or Mizo in Cranford. What a difference and what a mistake I made tonight.

The sushi is not bad for an all you can eat. The rolls are small but again it is all you eat. The staff is friendly but not attentive enough. I have to ask for my water or tea to be refilled. They give you one napkin and act like they are giving you gold when you ask for another. The check is very prompt to arrive at the table. This you don't seem to need to ask for. Over all I do go here 2-3 times a month.
