The Edison Diner Reviews
This diner is over priced. This is a diner. Not a fine dining restaurant. We use to go to this diner on a regular basis but after this last visit, there is doubt that we will be going any time soon. $60.00 for 2 entrees, breakfast and lunch that did not come with any add on (like salad, soup or dessert). The Edison Diner in Edison, New Jersey, offers a solid dining experience with good food and fast service. The menu has a variety of options, including thick and delicious French toast and a veal parmesan with an unfathomable amount of cheese. The portions are surprisingly large, leaving customers satisfied. The diner has a quirky theme based on Thomas Edison, with a large mural of him decorating the space. Customers can enjoy meals like a blue cheese bacon burger or a customizable grilled cheese sandwich, both praised for their flavors. The decor was exquisite, and the place seemed clean. The staff members are friendly and prompt, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The manager, George, has a good sense of humor, adding to the Jersey vibe. Overall, dining at The Edison Diner is a pleasant experience that keeps customers coming back for more, despite some concerns about portion sizes for certain dishes like the omelette and the use of frozen meats.
