It’s a lovely bakery run by a very kind family. There will be two kinds of people: those who have never come here and those who can’t stop coming here. The weekly menu is available on their website. It took me about 30 minutes to order breads and snacks, whether I arrived after they opened at 3 pm or waited outside for 30 minutes before opening. People told me it’s worth waiting 30 minutes to buy what they want because some items sell out very quickly,...
We had heard about Hammerbachers and made it a priority to try them out. We brought our selections home with the intent on eating them the next day, but decided take a small sample of each. Well we couldn’t stop at a sample of the Potato knish and Reuben knish they were too good. Ditto for the St Joseph’s Cake. We’ll have to go back on Friday to replenish our supply.
Best wholesome bakery. Anything they make with meat is high quality too. Egg Harbor is lucky to have Hammerbacher.
