The owner could not have been more accommodating. Our group was part of the cycling group on Sat 18Apr2026, starting and ending at the Lower Bank Tavern. The bar mostly catered to locals but were welcoming a bunch of tired and sweaty cyclist. The owner offered turkey noodle soup with pasta, as well as other selections.
A Great backwoods tavern. Super friendly staff, Theresa was charming. The fellow customers at the bar were great. Had the Lower Bank Burger with it's special sauce. The prime Burger was cooked just right medium rare, with the works. Love the Pines......eNJoy
