this restaurant holds a very special place in my heart! my family and i were regulars there and would visit 1-2 times every week. however, we feel that the new owners are trying WAYYY too hard. the old touch of italy was cozy and rustic, and the new design/menu/renovations feels like olive garden. i would give anything for this restaurant to return to the way it was, because it was absolutely perfect! the new owners are trying very hard to make it a good place (kudos to them), but NOTHING will beat the atmosphere that touch of italy once was.

We were looking for a venue for our wedding reception. We met Ashly at Touch of Italy and she said they had a room for such events. It was perfect size . We wernt having alot of people (30-40) and we already knew the food was good. ASHLEY was such a big help in every part of the reception. The menu , food and quality was some of the best we've had at any wedding. Everyone at our wedding commented on the service and food. The staff was amazing and helped make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience and the price was incredibly affordable. I cant recommend enough having an event here. Talk to Ashly , she is one of the best I've met at her job.

It's nice to continue to enjoy this restaurant and watch it evolve under new owners. I continue to enjoy dinners at A Touch of Italy. I have been in for lunch now three times and have enjoyed every entrée I've ordered. I love their local beers on tap.

The absolute worst place we have ever been to! Olive garden puts them to shame and that ain't saying much. Don't let the crowd fool you! We didn't take our leftovers home, it was so disappointing!

Absolutely amazing food. Every single thing I ate was 10/10. May be my new favorite place for a nice Italian dinner. So happy!

We were looking for a venue for our wedding reception and a friend recommended touch of italy. We went and met with Ashley, who coordinated everything. I can't express enough how much she helped us and what a wonderful time everyone had. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The room looked wonderful, and the staff was amazing. We could not have asked for a better reception. This was easily the best choice. Especially since we were only having 30 or so guests. Ashley took all the worry out of everything and delivered an ama,ing experience. Finally, the price was amazingly affordable . If you're considering an event and need a place, I highly recommend a Touch of italy . Talk to Ashley.

Funny story - drove out from Pittsburgh to surprise family we knew who would be dining here this evening. Our server Matthew was excellent - on the ball and fun! Drinks were ok - a little on the light side - I would recommend beer or wine. The food was good , but the price to portion was off. ( Yes, we know this is NJ) Husband ordered the shrimp fra divalo - "Hot," and he was satisfied with the heat. The restaurant was warm and cozy - plenty of parking. & just 2 minutes off the AC expressway & Garden State parkway. I think I would love to come back and give their pizza a try. We had the Pizza Bruchetta appy & it was excellent!

The ambiance was lively, although dated and even a bit loud. We were seated very close to our reservation time which is great. Cocktails were very good although I had to seek out a refill once my initial bar-purchased table-wait drink was empty. The bread and appetizer of oysters were both very good, but my entree was wholly disappointing. Scallops were chewy and fishy tasting, and my husband noted that they appeared a bit undercooked. My pasta was a bit harder than al dente and was generally unappealing. I ate less than 1/8 of it and couldn't manage more. My husbands veal Parmesan was very thin and sparse looking. We've actually had better delivered from our local take-out. The lovely seeded bread and olive oil at the beginning was the best part of the meal. Although every member of the staff appeared to be working feverishly (and we tipped accordingly) the food was not memorable for the right reasons.

Went with my wife for our weekly date night on Friday a few weeks ago. I had the veal parm subbed vodka sauce and it was really good. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer they could have had more flavor but they were good. Overall food was good. Would definitely go back again service was decent too we reserved online and they had a table waiting for us.
