Honestly I was soooo disappointed when we arrived for our reservation and our table was not even ready. The restaurant was not even super busy yet or packed to the gills (pun intended). So the highlight of our meals may have been the drinks and most of the appetizers. Their signature bang bang shrimp and the calamari. Potstickers were a tad salty but they weren’t the worst. Our dinners were a disaster starting with the fontina pork chop. Boy did that look amazing but once my daughter bit into it she thought something was off so she tried another piece cutting from some in the middle … same off putting taste. She had a few of us taste it, it was very smoky and very salty! No where in the menu did she read smoke the thing was like ham! My husband’s mahi mahi was more like a watery bland tilapia. Worse fish dish he’s ever had. My filet thermidor also has that smoked flavor but the steak was cooked perfectly. I know you’re thinking well it’s a seafood restaurant why order steak? It was smothered in a lobster n crab cream sauce. Also, I’ve had great filets at my local BF back at home. This place was not even close to matching the quality in taste with the one at home. Sadly this was a birthday celebration for my mom with her friends and family. The service was slow between getting our drinks to our appetizers and dinners. The server was sparse with refilling water and drinks. Well we know to stick to the wait at the Crab Trap.

On Dec 4th, we attended the Merry Martini dinner at the Bonefish on Fire Rd in Northfield. It was a set plate event with 5 courses paired beautifully with 5 cocktails. Our host Javon Blank went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. At first, we were quite surprised by the family style seating, but we quickly made friends with our seating companions, Brenda and Renee from Mamora who were quite charming. The food courses and the martini pairing were pure perfection as we celebrated my birthday in style.

Good food with really good expresso martini's. I go to this place often and it's usually very consistent. That's why when I went there this last time for the snow crab I was a little disappointed. The crab was very dry and only half of the leg was edible the other half was dry and not existent. Very unusual for this establishment

This seafood restaurant on Fire Road is huge , with a lot of tables. After they dim the lights for dinner service there is a relaxing ambiance at the tables. I started with a Parkers Margarita which was really good, and a nice size too. I also tried a glass of white wine but next time I'd stick to cocktails. We got a calamari to share and it was quite crispy , my parents thought it was a bit overdone. I liked it. My Dad got a tomato soup as part of a 3 course deal they had . He enjoyed the soup. My Mom got the steak with asparagus and liked it. My Dad got the Cod Imperial with fries and coleslaw (I tried this and thought it was a bit rich.) I had Mahi Mahi and shrimp with mashed potatoes and beans. Tasty and light though I liked those grilled shrimp better than the Mahi. Next time I'll try a different grilled fish. This is a chain ,and they do list calories on the menu which is nice . Staff were all friendly. Plenty of parking outside. Keep your eyes out for the bobcat though, my parents say they spotted one near the parking lot one night ! Also try the dessert specials because the Pumpkin Creme Brulee for Halloween was really light and good.

I visit the restaurant often today my wife took our daughter inlaw for lunch she ordered the Salmon lunch meal and tacos lunch meal the salad wasn't cold which came with Tacos fries were well done the piece of Salmon was very very small maybe a 3 inch piece and very crusty around all the edges and quite well done couldnt eat hardly any of it coleslaw was good they each had a drink 2 inches of wine was 15.99 !! other drink was just ok Pomegranate Martini very sweet !! sad to say neither finished the meal, was there 3 weeks ago meal was great not sure what the problem was but probably not returning sad cause i know it could be alot better ..
