Pho Cali

Being a driver by proffession, I have come across many "pho" restaurants but out of the 100s ive tried. PHO CALI is one of maybe 4 genuine Vietnamese pho restaurants ive found. Highly recommend.

I believe this was the P1( I'm not certain of the number) . It's beef brisket, meatballs and rice noodles - minus the onions and scallions

Went here to get takeout for lunch. I ordered two Cali Buns (chicken). One for lunch and one for later. I've been here a few times and the buns were ok. Today the chicken was EXTREMELY dry. Unable to eat it. Also the cucumbers should be sliced thinner.

My order is my last order. I won’t go back. Supported them through the pandemic. Got soup and the egg noodles were a turmeric color, they didn’t taste good and it was hard to eat. I got the N10, the shrimp with egg noodles. The sides and condiments have gone downhill, the broth never has any flavor. I always jazz the broth up when I get home. I ordered extra noodles and ended up putting it in the trash. They gave me hot peppers that didn’t go with the meal. They used to at least give you a lime slice. My soup was 22.00, I gave 2.00 tip for pick up and it’s just not worth 24.00 for a very hard to eat bowl of soup. It was literally very hard to consume. I don’t know why they would serve the noodles in a big clump with off putting taste and color. The last order wasn’t very good and I was on the fence about ordering again and now I know I’m done. I will never order again. It used to be my favorite and I don’t know how something so good could go downhill.

This is an AMAZING vietnamese restaurant and will be on our list every time we come to AC.This place was authentic, You could tell the spring rolls were hand made and they have my favorite dish-fried quail. Great with beer (byob)The broth was super flavorful and there were a lot of different beef parts to eat.The Vietnamese coffee was also great with the drip and extra hot water.I can't wait to go back!

Fried tofu banh mi with fresh cilantro and cucumber and pepper, absolutely first rate - But the star is the Vietnamese coffee, creamy and sweet and earthy and nutty, a perfect drink.
