The food is great but the service over the phone is horrible. The hispanic women who takes the orders is rude and unorganized. She's working at a portuguese restaurant and gets upset and confrontational when you don't speak Spanish. We order a lot from there but unfortunately this will be our last time.

I ordered $100 worth of food that included 2 bottles of 2 liter soda and they didn’t even give me any cups and I asked them. They gave me plates and utensils. I ordered 3 whole chickens and a full rack of ribs, tray of fries and tray of rice. I didn’t get a full rack of ribs and no cups for soda. Service has gone down.

I've been going here for yrs and the last coue times the service been bad.. Everyone seem on edge and sad or mad looking.. The food not what u use to in taste.. I go for there homemade fries the lie to u about them.. Yesterday order was 1/2 beef rib 1/2 chicken.. I usually get to beef ribs they gave me 1 and cut it in half.. Full matter they give u 3 to 4 depending on size of rib.. I argued what was this.. They had bull shit answers for me so they lost me as a customer.. I use to love this spot heard it's new ownership.. They gotta get it together everyone is complaining I know

I frequent this site because I thought their prices were fair. Today we celebrated my husband's birthday and I ordered the usual seafood grill which costs 74.75 But ohh surprise they charged us 220 for 2 grills. According to them, the price increased and 1 month ago it was at the usual price. What nerve. At 110 each and smaller.

The selection is fantastic. The food is top shelf. It's a little pricey, but after you start eating you'll quickly realize the quality commands a little extra cost. They also have a room dedicated to take out that is very reasonable.

I haven't been at this restaurant for a very long time and honestly I was very disappointed. I ordered a simple meal: BBQ chicken with fries and saute vegetables, the chicken and fries were good but after couple of bites of the veggies I bit into something hard (it was a small piece of a clam shell!). My husband ordered medium steak and it was way over cooked. The waitress brought the drinks and never came back to refill either one of our glasses, they were sitting there empty. The restaurant was empty (it was before the lunch traffic) but it took forever to even get the appetizer. Will probably not go back
Visiting the area after a very long time not being there, my friends suggested to meet at this restaurant. Arrived 10 minutes before them and after a long time, the bar tender suggested choosing a table since they weren’t busy at that time. Picked a suitable table for my friends and I and sat down. For over 20 minutes no one came to welcome or attend to us, so I got up and asked a server “Fernando” to attend to us. We placed our orders for food and drinks and it took even longer to get the most basics like drinks and bread for example. Finally the food arrived and the taste made up for the wait. Was delicious and big portions. We had our meals and asked for the check. Although, I ordered vegetable soup along my order, it never came but was charged in the check. Didn’t make a big deal, paid the check and tipped over 20% and left. Was more important to me meeting my friends after a long time and enjoying a very good meal and time with them. It’s worth a visit for the joy of great food.
We used to frequent Algarve but stopped going after prices went up and the quality went down. Today we gave Algarve another chance, and were sadly reminded of why we stopped going. The service was good, but the food left much to be desired. We tried to start with Berbigão, they came out smelling like the port at low tide, each tried two which were tough (not typical of this shellfish) and tasted like they smelled. To their credit this was removed from our bill. I had the Leitão (a Sunday special), it had clearly been prepared hours before- the edges where it was cut were extremely hard and dry.
