I purchased a large birthday ice cream cake that cost $52.99 for my dad’s birthday. I didn’t mind paying that price as long as quality was there. There was very, very little amount of vanilla ice cream and the upper layer was deceiving as it was mostly vanilla frosting. I would have been better off going to grocery store and buying a $6 gallon of vanilla ice cream and serving that for our special occasion. My family was very disappointed. There was no problem with the chocolate layer the quantity was fine. I would not recommend buying this if you expect a decent amount of vanilla ice cream.

WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD. I called the store in the afternoon because I wanted to ask if I could place an order over the phone or if it had to be done in person. The woman who answered the phone didn't even let me finish saying "good afternoon" before cutting me off and saying, "I'm busy and I really don't have time for this," then hanging up on me. I wish I had her name. What kind of customer service is that? You don't have time? You're getting paid, so you have time, and if you don't, then make the time. This company should hire people who can multitask, otherwise, they'll go bankrupt.

I haven't visited Carvel in years! It was a pleasant experience. The ice cream was delicious, although prices have gone up, as expected. The place is super clean and brite! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend it!
The service was terrible, we went on Sunday and it was a bit crowded, but not much, we waited almost 10 minutes and when we were finally served by the super unfriendly and indifferent girl, not to mention rude, at the time of paying they did not receive American Express so we changed the payment method and she spoke to us super horrible about why we had mainly said that card and that she should open the box when she was the one who rejected our card, she received the money in a super horrible way. Very bad attention

Went to spend time with my family on memorial day around 1:45. We got there when there were no customers. The guy comes out the back on the phone and tells us to wait, we waited about 20 minutes until he noticed his familiar customers enter. Then decided to serve my family his attitude was obnoxious.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would do it, although their ice cream is good, the customer service is terrible, not to mention horrible or horrible, those who serve me completely ignored me, I was standing in front of them for almost 15 minutes waiting for them to serve me, they saw me and I ordered help twice and they ignored me as if I wasn't in front of them horrible

As a kid I grew up in Elizabeth.. my walks on Elmora Ave with my friends where “just because walks” but we always ended up at Carvels. Now a bring my kids when ever they want cream… Love their I cream cake the most…rum raisin lover
