I ordered here for the first time, the scrambled pupusas were 10/10, the cheese ones were inedible, but the worst was the corn tamales, my husband is Polish and addicted to corn tamales. Our place (cabañitas) did not have service today and we ordered from here, they had a horrible smell and I can't even describe it, my husband has the flu and he said he didn't smell it but when he tried them he almost vomited

Very nice place, they served us very quickly! The lady is so beautiful, very kind. The food was delicious, the Pupusas were 100% and my husband ordered some baleadas and said they were delicious. We recommend it.

Always a friendly staff when I go. The food and environment are great. I don't live in Elizabeth, yet I enjoy the food so much that I find myself going at least once a month.

Small restaurant serving Salvadoran food. Pupusas are generous. But the curtido lacks flavor. I don’t like it. Suite pupusa had carrots inside. That’s a no. Flavorless. The bathroom needs work although clean. You can always judge a restaurant by its bathroom. The music is loud for such a small place with maybe 8 tables. The music video that was on at the time of our visit was vulgar. And we asked to have it changed which they did. What bothers me is the sign that says “4% Surcharge charge for card use”.Again, why ?? I keep seeing this trend. This is so tacky. Get off the surcharge bandwagon. If you can’t afford to do business then close the place. Incorporate your fees into the food price. Don’t penalize us for not using cash.Vegetarian options: Pupusas

I've been a customer since they've opened. This is my go-to restaurant. The pupusas are amazing, tamales fritos are sweet and delicious, and not to mention their pollo con salsa de champiñones! I literally order this every single time! Desayuno salvadorian is my 9 year old's favorite. I don't need to beg her to finish her plate. I can eat in piece.

True authentic Salvadorian food. We stayed in Central Park, NYC, and tried several restaurants. Il Cantone was by far our favorite. Great price, great service, and phenomenal food. 10/10
