Ok, so I had this place on my sites. Finally took the drive down to Elizabeth. I found parking right across the street. 1st time and excellent start. Tables available, good music playing, not like a club. The waiter was outstanding. He was very helpful, friendly, and patient to explain the dishes and make recommendations. Then came the star of the show. We went with la rueda marina, ceviche and seafood chaufa. We got an order of Maduros, which should have been a bit thinner and more. We had to drink jugo de maracuya (passion fruit) and ended with a perfect maracuya cheesecake. The juice was perfect with just the right amount of sugar and fruit. The dessert, well, wish I wasn't so full to have more. Highly recommend and cant wait to go again.

This is my second time at this place, and I was really looking forward to trying the food again with my family. But unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
We ordered the ceviche de mariscos, and the shrimp and crab tasted a bit off. The ceviche de concha tasted like a ceviche made with just onions and lime, no flavor. I also ordered a to-go order of chaufa mixta of beef and shrimp, and I was charged for it, but when I got home, I found out that they had given me chicken and shrimp instead.
I was really disappointed, and I won’t be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

I didn't like that they add the 15% tip on the check. Also paying with credit card you get a fee. The service is fair.

Haven’t had Peruvian food like this in well over a decade. The service was incredible! The ceviche was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was simple and easy going. Felt like I was in someone’s home. The warmth we received from our server was refreshing. Certainly recommend!
