If you are craving Guyanese food, this is the place to go. Finger licking good curry chicken, ox tail, brown stew, and much more. Made with love. My go-to place if I'm in the area.
Basic, charming place. Excellent food. Veggie options don't taste like an after thought. They are stand out supper stars.

I stopped in for dinner on a whim. The woman behind the counter was very warm and inviting, so I felt like anything I got would be made with love. I'm vegetarian, so I got rice with beans, cabbage, potato salad, and pine tart. It was great to have some homemade comfort food while traveling. Thank you and God bless!
Best Guyanese fried rice in America + excellent customer service.

My first time trying Guyanese cuisine and I was very satisfied. I was thinking of having shrimp and roti but that wasn’t available so I went with the recommended jerk chicken. It was served with fried rice, plantains, and a turmeric potato salad, which were all delicious. The woman running this tiny restaurant is a darling.

My go to was the chicken curry. I would order it at least twice a week and have it delivered. The last few times the flavor changed and it was overwhelmingly peppery. The price also increased and so it made it unaffordable for me to have delivered. I will still patronize but only when I am able to pick up. Overall I still give this business a 4 out of 5. The owner is very nice and I love to support woman in business and wish her the best success!
This was some of the tastiest food and absolutely the best service. I'd go back again.

It’s very hard to find guyanese food in NJ to begin with, but to find such a place with great food, exceptional service, and an amazing atmosphere is something hard to come by anywhere. Since coming back from NYC for summer vacation from college, I can say I am thoroughly impressed by this little shop, which absolutely rivals those in brooklyn and queens. The lady at the counter was so friendly and really treats her customers like she’s known them for a long time and hasn’t seen them in a while, this coming from me being a new customer lol. The bake and saltfish was to die for and based on other reviews, and the other dishes I saw in person, I will definitely be back 9/10 :)

I found a new carribean spot! I been in jersey for about 6 months and finally found an amazing food spot. The salt fish and bake & chow mein was so good. I'm just upset I didn't buy another sorrel lol.
