i am a mamasushi enthusiast but i’ve never been to this location before. Our server seemed to be rushing us to order since we sat down. we arrived at 8 and our host failed to let us know that their hours online are outdated and they close at 9. The bathrooms are inadequate compared to NYC locations. No hot water, No paper towels, No toilet paper, and lacked cleanliness.We drove two hours to celebrate a birthday and was very disappointed, the atmosphere was very dead and low energy. The employees were unapologetic for the obvious dissatisfaction at our table. Food was good although server etiquette was lacking.

Pros - sushi is good. Drinks are OK. Great spot for a good price.Cons. The customer service could be a lot better . One thing I notice is when I come here dressed as an executive I get way better service vs I’m wearing street clothes. It’s 2023 let’s not put bias on clients especially those who eat here all the time . Also drinks take forever to be served ; the best waiter there is the male Colombian dude he does a great job . All the other female waitresses do a bad job. But the food is good and parking is accessible . Honestly it’s a great restaurant I just feel it needs a bar to sit down and watch sports . Otherwise good spot to go on a cheap date for good quality food

I went with my sister and nieces for my mom's birthday. We were there for 2 hours mostly waiting on our food. By the time we left, my sister and one niece hadn't even been served. They gave my sister the wrong food to take home and my niece's order was never placed to begin with.The food was ok, but the service was horrific. Shame because I was super excited to try this place. Never going back, and definitely do not recommend.

I took my mom to Mamasushi in Elizabeth for a Birthday lunch/meal and this place has the worst service. They bought out my mom’s food my brother’s and one of my daughter’s food yet my youngest daughter nothing nor mine. My mom’s dish was half served it was missing the rice and the soup. I spent 248.00 on the worst service I ever had. I am ashamed to even know that this place is owned by a Dominican. What a theft. I didn’t even get what I order.
Vegetarian options: A hot mess they added crab meat.

Well the food alway good the drink as well but the service not happy it … I love to do great tip sometimes more then regular because I live from tips and is all about the service. but the service wasn’t good special in this location never had bad service in other location the service wasn’t there from the entrance to the server. I think that seen they know the tip will be there why do extra… Other then that food and drinks delicious…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The price was ok but they have an additional fee which you can choose to agree or disagree to pay. The flavor was ok but didn't meet my expectations, I have tried 3 different sushi rolls and a nigiri flavor. What I liked was the service the staff gave and the environment of the place, looks more like a disco/bar than a restaurant.
Before even entering this restaurant the service was already terrible. The hostess and the manger were both extremely rude on the phone. I tried to make a reservation for a birthday and they refused to help or take a reservation which make absolutely no sense to walk in with a large party and risk not having a table. This is not the place if you want to celebrate anything and if you expect good service.

The food was DELICIOUS!!! The sushi was super fresh and the salmon was cooked to perfection. It was my first time coming here and I will definitely come back to try other items in the menu!

We were a group of 16 people celebrating a sweet sixteen, as soon as we arrived the host asked us if we want to get a table, she took a couple of minutes but she finally sat us down. the servers were incredible, we enjoyed the music & atmosphere and the food. since we were a big group we order a bunch of appetizers such as the optupus, the trio, dumplings pan fried, pinko calamari, pop corn shrimp and pop corn chicharron (OMG IT WAS GOOD). Latin style sushis were amazing and the bento box comes with a little be of everything, I ate the Salmon and the convention between the sweet and sour vegetables and the fish in incredible. After we finished we ate the deserts and I really love them. The Perfect Margarita was also excellent and the Virgen Mojitos with flavor are good as well for those who can not drink alcohol.Cheers for my servers Alex and Andrea for making us feel special and my daughter to be the happiest person in the world.100% recommended

The food and drinks are good.The ambience and service was good too. The only problem is how loud the music is during regular dining hours. One thing is lounge time and another is dinner time. My friend and I left with hoarse voices from screaming over the music. If they lowered the music a little it would be perfect.
