I had gotten my appendix removed and was hungry for Chinese and ordered shrimp and broccoli that I had my boyfriend pick up. When I took first bite something about the shrimp tasted very odd….. once I was suspicious about the shrimp I smelled the shrimp to make sure I wasn’t going insane . The shrimp smelled sour ! They gave me sour spoiled shrimp and I couldn’t even return it because I couldn’t get out of bed due to surgery. What if I didn’t notice and started to have diarrhea or vomit, do you know how much pain I would’ve been in after my abdomen had been cut through! Their food IS NOT GOOD be careful

I've been calling like 3 times and no one answers, is it close on Sundays? Because I always order every week or two on Sundays and for the past days no one has been answering my call, so I've been ordering from another place.

We found ourselves unexpectedly stuck in a Newark hotel when a flight got canceled. Trying to make the best of the day we planned a visit to a few of the local sights, but then it rained. Stuck at the hotel we decided to order some Chinese food. The restaurant was not too far from our hotel and delivered. The ordering is done through the BeyondMenu site. I was happy to see Szechuan dishes; lots of Chinese places do ok with the typical Americanized stir fry and rice, but a good Szechuan dish is spicy and tasty and so I ordered some. Delivery was on time and the food still hot. It was good, but could have been better. The fried seafood appetizer was ok, but looked like premade stuff that was just fried on order. The fried wontons were a little better except that they were underdone; the skins weren't fried to a crisp, some were still very doughy. That was a little disappointing and obviously was rushed. The orange chicken was pretty good and I liked that there were orange peels in the sauce. It also came with steamed rice. The Szechuan chicken however, while tasty, wasn't the crispy fried chicken bits in chilis that I expected. It was slices of chicken breast in a brown sauce with vegetables; a hearty meal, but not the favorite Szechuan dish I had in mind. I debated between three and four stars on the rating. I really appreciated that they were able to deliver to the hotel, and they give you a good amount of food. But the missteps were enough to hold me back. A few corrections and this could have been much better. If I'm back in the area someday I'd like to give them a try in-store and not rushed.

I called and made a basic chicken and broccoli order plain fried rice. The complete opposite of what I ordered and gave me a half chewed fork. Do not come here !!!

I have heard good things about this place , I wasn't impressed. I had ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young W/ 3 pancakes was decent But the so called brown gravy looked like jarred turkey gravy, I didn't taste the turkey . Also tried Broccoli w/ Extra ??? garlic sauce was a letdown , I had to add 3 packets of hot sauce & that didn't have the heat level searched for. Their Burgers faired much Better though. Double cheeseburger & french fries is $8.00 . I doubt I'll be ordering Chinese food from here. P.s. Young girl answering the phone was kinda of nasty When I ordered the food. Just tried to order the right food for several people & she acted very hastily. I've worked in service industry, the customer is ALWAYS right
Absolutely horrible I found hair in my food and when I first ordered they said they don’t do 1 order delivery and I couldn’t hear them so I asked them to repeat it and the lady screamed at me
