Tropicana Diner and Bakery

I have been going to the Tropicana for over 25 yrs and tonight was a disappointment I ain't never going back I always order the same thing spicy ranch salad and calamari the calamari was over cooked and it had to be sent back the salad was a basic salad with 5 pieces of skirt steak the portion size is smaller from previous times and the price went from 18 to 25 dollars so there is no value in going there food is overpriced and mid at best

Got the soup of the day and disco fries. Soup of the day was a thick paste with no flavor except for salt.

Disco fries were ok. The gravy had a hint of rosemary but was very salty.

I ordered and grill cheese sandwich with fries.
The bread was horrible and it was cold. The fries was better than the sandwich. I'm not happy about my sandwich being cold and not tasting right. I felt like I was given the ends of the bread.

I hope they continue, the opinions we arrived from a party, around 2:30am and a waiter told us to hurry up because they were closing! What kind of people work there!

This is my spot. Wonderful. So many options. Classic diner fare. Colombian Latino deliciousness. And a bakery. I came for a late breakfast and everything looked so good it was hard to decide. Ordered a cup of coffee to help me focus. It brought me to tears it was so good. This is a repeat spot for sure.

This is home away from Home! Love this place.

These five stars are as a favor for the future, since the cook could not prepare French onion soup properly, according to the recipe, I will continue to visit your restaurant and I hope that your cook will take seriously the preparation of this favorite dish of mine, I think that the owner of the establishment will read my comment!! please let your chef go to YouTube to watch the recipe for this dish, don’t disappoint your customers Since I work in your area

Been coming for many years. Gourmet crepes w eggs were thick and rubbery not crepe's. potatoes soggy omelette inside crepes and western omelette was good had to ask for coffee Should have asked for their delish grits. Did discount the crepes. Hostess very nice
