Delicious food and friendly, kind owner!! My father and I had the bandeja típica and I had the ropa vieja with tostadas and rice with beans Cuban-style. The meat of the ropa vieja was wonderfully seasoned. Part of the chicharrón meat was a bit tough to chew. The coffee was so cute and delicious ?
It seems like el Palmar was the only place who knew what a Croqueta Preparada was. I ordered one but got croqueta with bread instead. Folks, a croqueta preparada consists of croqueta, Swiss cheese, onions & ketchup. I shouldn’t have to call & tell a Cuban restaurant how to make a Cuban staple.
Small hole in the wall owned by a great couple. Their coffee is absolutely on point y los cubanos are fresh, made to order, filling and absolutely delicious. They also have a few colombian dishes as well.
