I absolutely love their coffee and food and the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is bc it is a cash only establishment. At the very least you should at least either accept p2p or provide access to an atm on site, just my opinion.

I really REALLY wanted to love this place. An old mom and pop shop type look, with extremely friendly service. I even thought being cash only would make them more homey/old school. However, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in my sub. 😢 To start, the bread is so hard, it actually locked my jaw and I really want to cry and leave work because of it. I threw the second half of my sandwich away. I tried to fight through the pain, but it just wasn't worth suffering. As you can see from the photos, there were only 3 slices of meat on each half. It felt like I had a bread sandwich with a side of turkey to drape over top. Asked for extra extra mayo, barely any was on there. I even tried my husband's Italian sub to try and give them the benefit of doubt. It was okay, nothing was exciting or stood out to me, his was hard as a rock as well. I literally had to bite down and pull/rip the bread to take a single bite. I'm at work and luckily I had a frozen meal as back up to pop into the fridge. To say I was extremely disappointed doesn't even grasp my feelings right now. They have amazing reviews and I really don't ever even want to come back. 😢

I love Anderson's Country Store in Pittsgrove, NJ. This store offers so much to the customers. I love the look of Anderson's Country Store. The employees are always helpful and very friendly. Anderson's has fresh deli subs, candy, soda beverages, coffee, potato chips and much more. They have been open for a long time and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Anderson's Country Store also has ice cream,so if you're in the area stop on in.
Vegetarian options: If you ask an employee for a vegetarian meal then I think they would help you.
Kid-friendliness: Yes Anderson's is kid friendly. The employees have always been so nice and friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking and it is wheelchair accessible.

This place is an absolute *gem*! Anderson's has been here for generations, and I'm so glad to see this beautiful historic building with little alterations. I asked a worker one day how old it is, and she said she thought they said the 1700's! It's so cute inside, and cozy out in the front porch. Old men sit in the porch most mornings, having coffee and playing checkers. Aside from the amazing atmosphere, they have everything you need - anything any other chain convenience store has, they have it too, plus home baked goodies on occasion, and all kinds of things you might need in a pinch. It's truly like going into an old time general store. As I said, it's an absolute local gem, and I'm proud to have it in South Jersey!
