I’ve been coming here since I was a child, and I’ve loved it so much that I make a two hour round trip once or twice a year to eat here now as an adult in my 30s. It’s gone seriously downhill over the years. The food is decent (used to be amazing) but incredibly overpriced for what you get. (Their shrimp cocktail is four medium sized shrimp and half-frozen cocktail sauce for $19…I mean come on!) Went to the Centerton Inn last night in Elmer for my birthday, it was great! There were 5 of us. We ordered the following: Bangin' Shrimp- Flash Fried and Tossed in a Sweet Chili Mayo; Teriyaki Beef Tips- On a Bed of Crispy Noodles for apps. For mains we had Steak Fromage- Grilled NY Strip Topped with a Blue Cheese; Centerton Potato (twice stuffed); a special pepper steak with mash potatoes; and Warm Chocolate Walnut Bread Pudding.
