Hook & Reel makes the best boba tea I’ve tried in the NJ area , their strawberry boba tea it does not disappoint , Don’t forget about their sea food boils to top everything off!!!

Shout out to Eddy our waiter and Eric our bartender who made sure me and my family was well taken care of. The service was beyond perfect. They made sure we were well taken care of. The service was awesome. Drinks and food was definitely on point.

Food is very good. Great seafood flavors. They could add more corn on the boil bags to level the amount sodium. The place is too dark, it feels like you are in a very old Bar.

I went there with my mom and we got two small catches. I got corn keep that in mind I didn’t even get my corn and you might as well just went to the beach and get shells, cause there was barely any meat in them and when there was meat it was either too tender or soggy/shredded I would never want anyone to go here, not even my worst enemies this place doesn’t even deserve a single star from me

A pretty good spot for a seafood boil.

Every shellfish I tried (crawfish, black mussels, scallops, shrimp, snow crab, & lobster) was very fresh and tender. I’ve been here twice, and both times the seafood served was cooked perfectly, no rubbery or chewy issues here.

After trying both options, I recommend getting the shrimp with the head on because the meat retains a briny taste. When the heads are cut off most of the ocean flavor is boiled out of the shrimp.

My one complaint about the boil would be that the seafood comes out very sandy. Especially, the black mussels. I used my cup of water to rinse every mussel before eating it.

Definitely not a place I’d order salad again. We got crabmeat salad for the table. The leaves looked like they came out of a bag, and we had to search for the promised crabmeat. The dressing came in a bag on the side. Felt like a waste of $9.

The drinks, however, were quite delicious. The frozen drinks are much lighter in alcohol, and a bit sweet. The House Margarita on the rocks was tangy and stronger, which I preferred as a pairing with the seafood.

Overall, a fun hands-on and tasty experience! Side note, I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you plan on catching up with someone, the music is very loud lol.

What a great experience! Food was great and the service was 5 star Sumani was the best server. She smiled and made conversation. She explained the menu and always stopped by our booth to make sure we were okay. I would definitely go back to this location. Awesome time! It’s always nice to go to dinner and the staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated.
