I’m truly impressed with the quality of service and food at King Falafel, located at 46 in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. I’ve tried Shawarma at many places, but King Falafel serves one of the best shawarma ever! I’ve been going there for the last few months, and I’ve tried everything on the menu. Every dish tastes amazing, but my favorite is the Shawarma wrap—it’s unbelievable!
The quality of the meat and the aroma is just incredible. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would.
A special shoutout to Sami, the owner, who always greets me with a warm hello whenever I’m there. He truly cares about his customers and ensures we’re happy with the food and service.
I promise you won’t be disappointed. Keep up the great work, King Falafel!

You absolutely need to come here! Tastiest juiciest and most tender kababs. The shawarmas are AMAZING, especially with garlic sauce 😋. The owner and server are so sweet they gave me a dessert on the house 🙌🏽.

I recently visited King Falafel and was disappointed with my experience. For $28, I expected a well-prepared meal, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The chicken was undercooked NO RICE WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED EAT WITH MEAT, and the dish consisted mainly of just meat and salad, which didn’t justify the high price. Definitely not worth the cost for what was served. Wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

It gets worse day by day, we prefer it because it is halal, but the taste is bad, the service is wrong or missing, we asked for coke and they sent it to the sofa. There is so much greenery in felafel, there is almost no chickpeas, the taste is really bitter, it is unsuccessful and the prices are very high.

Dropped $40 today for an extremely lackluster food experience. I had been a customer some years ago and really wanted to treat myself today. I hadn't ordered in some time and I figured this would be a nice occasion. I used a food courier service.
I ordered a chicken shawrma platter. It is seriously so small to be $20. I feel robbed. I also did not receive the salad that was supposed to come with my order. Additionally, I did not receive pita bread nor sauces (toum, hot green paste) with this platter.
I also ordered falafel and it was salty and did not come with the tahini it has come with before.
I ordered the mint lemonade which was about $9 and it was absolutely not worth it.
The pickles have a lot more turmeric than I'd like.
I was seriously expecting something completely different than the experience I had today. I am truly disappointed in this establishment and will not be returning.
