O my God...It's Easter Sunday ...This restaurant always gives me a hard time. Last time,. my name was not on the list and I paid it. It took me time to explain and they ignored me as something was nothing. This store is not friendly to customers. I had to call my credit card since I was not able to retrieve on my cell phone the payments that I made...This store has no heart and has no feelings. Their sisig is not good for some but good for others ..It is fatty for me but others love it.....Yesterday my wife and my son were there and now they gave my wife and my son a hard time. You will wait for your karma..Yes, we always order their fatty sisig and full of cholesterol butwe can not say No to a few guests requesting their fatty sisig. I will call them on Tuesday and make a suggestion:They should follow what the restaurant whom I worked as part-timer for ten years. We had a small white board near the cashier and a paper with the nickname and initial of those who ordered with time for their pick up. So, no problem happened and no embarrassment occurred because it's matter of organization. I hope that the owner will listen to our suggestions because we always patronage their products not only for their food, but for their groceries as well even if they price is not much competitive in the area because as Filipinos we support their business here even when they were in Elmwood Park for years and in Bergenfield for a quick years...

I ordered 3 dishes, pusit sisig, pansit bihon and bicol express. Pusit sisig is great, bihon a bit salty but okay, but the BICOL EXPRESS is a DISAPPOINTMENT! lol i cannot find the pork! i thought im eating chilli pepper only..i dont know if they run out of pork or what. this is the first time i ordered bicol express like that.

Ordered our food selection by phone but when we arrived at the restaurant, they said they never received the irder. Anyway, we reordered our selection and we were told our order will be ready in 15- 20 minutes. it took 45 minutes and we saw other customers who came much later than us get served before us..

I ordered Pork and Squid Sisig, and it was the best sisig I've ever had. Sadly, you will have to wait for a while while they are preparing your order. The atmosphere is okay. I think a little bit of lighting and having the dinner tables set in the back of the store would be a great idea. It is street parking, so be aware when you come on a busy time. Overall, the place and the food are amazing.

I have been to the nyc location. It's called casa delfina for the sari-sari store but its called mama fina for the restaurant. We always order the pork sisig, longsilog, and pusit sisig. Its small inside not many seatings since its half restaurant & half grocery store. Pusit sisig was soo crispy; crispier than the pork sisig.

bigger location than the one in elmwood park and is still the best sisig in jersey! pusit sisig is still our favorite! they also have a small grocery store within the restaurant which is very convenient. limited seating though! street parking available but there is a metered parking lot behind the store.

Best Sisig in the NJ/NYC area! I've been coming here for years and visited today at there new location in Hackensack. I recommend ordering either the Pork or Bangus sisig. They also have a nice diverse grocery(Sari Sari store) in the back that has everything you would need in a Filipino kitchen. 5/5 stars.Parking: There is paid street parking from Monday to Saturday. Sundays are free street parking.

Mama Fina's offers a good selection of traditional Filipino dishes from simple breakfast items like tapsilog, longsilog, etc. and great lunch-dinner options. Expect the place to be a sari-sari store where they sell other goods like small grocery items and foods besides being able to dine inside. This is not your traditional American restaurant. They have less than 10 tables and they do a lot of take-out. Seating might be a challenge if you come in at a busy time so plan your dine-in accordingly. Since it sits on a busy main st, there's places you can walk around while waiting for a table or simply take a look at there interesting filipino grocery's. The reasonable priced food is very good with a basic presentation, expect to be very satisfied after dining. The service is average since it's not an actual restaurant so don't expect to get a full on service while dining. Staff seems to be family owned which makes you feel at home. You order your food up-front and they bring it to your table when it's ready. Food is cooked by the order so it does take a little time to be ready, but completely worth the wait. You don't actually get a server but you can ask the staff for things you need and they are very accommodating. They also have natural smoothies and other refreshing drinks and desserts. Tips are not included and at your discretion when you pay by the cashier. There's not many filipino food locations around so each one is a gem on its own. Overall a great TRADITIONAL Filipino spot.

I don't know how to make of this. I ordered it palabok and was given an attitude- like how dare did I even think of ordering this and was told they never served it. Pointed out that it's on the handwritten menu. SMH. Bad service.
