Always good service here. Maybe because I come all the time. They have business lunch menu which is only $20 bucks. You get choice of ny strip or fish. Dinner is great. The steak is dry aged and thick. Great flavor and tender. Can't go wrong with this place.

My brother had picked this place for nostalgic reason since our family had been there 30 or so years ago, and I brought my family with me this time. We ordered a few drinks, some appetizers, salad, porterhouse for 3, a ribeye, a pasta, and some sides. The appetizers (oysters and crab cakes) were just meh, salad was ok, porterhouse was cooked properly (med rare) but could use a bit more seasoning, the ribeye was unacceptable. The ribeye ($53) was half an inch thick (strike 1) and it was 80% cooked with a very slight pink and definitely not the medium we had ordered (strike 2). When we raised it to the attention of the guy (I believe the manager/owner) that the steak is overcooked, he was skeptical and went to confirm with our waiter what we had ordered. And then he came back with a picture of steak temperatures to argue what a medium steak should look like (strike 3), mind you…the color in the pic did not look like what we got. Finally they came back with a replacement ribeye (slightly thicker maybe 3/4 in) which was rare (strike 4). The manager must have noticed that it wasn’t cooked enough so he brought over a hot plate and said “here you can cook it to your liking”. We were so done with the restaurant by then that we were speechless. I was going to leave a lower tip because of our experience but since it was Christmas Eve, I decided to be fair to our waiter who wasn’t being rude to us and left a 18% tip. Needless to say, they have lost a customer for good. I am shocked to see an establishment in business with this level of service and food quality.

Lovely place with the great food and awesome service! Price is very reasonable and staffs are so friendly! Highly
It's mediocre at best and very expensive. Service was good hence the 3 stars. It's in an old house which one would assume would have a neat vibe, it doesn't. Probably better steak houses

A decent steak in Englewood Cliffs, ordered porterhouse for 4 and few appetizers plus pasta. Canadian beacon was fine (could be little thicker). Beefsteak tomatoes and onions were good. Porterhouse for 4 was great. Pasta and fries were ok but not worth the money. Go with the porterhouse.

Our favorite. Family owned and run for many years. Traditional classy treatment, great service, beautiful relaxing atmosphere, delicious quality food (and my husband is picky about his steak!), full bar, a lovely evening all around

Recently had family dinner at cliffs, my kids love steak so it was a rare treat for them to dine out. However I was very disappointed in the portion of all dishes. I ordered the special tomahawk steak for 2 and the filet. I swear, the tomahawk for 2 seemed like for 1. If they're going to charge me $160, have the decency and give me a good size portion. Also I ordered the special seared scallops, 3 tiny quarter sized scallops for $33. I have been going to cliff's for a long time but I am truly disappointed...
