After exploring a historic house in nearby Alpine, this longstanding establishment on Route 9 has been on my radar, and we decided on lunch today. First time here, what a wonderful surprise! Enjoyed a night of dancing and good music with high school friends of 40 years! Only ate the bar pie...which was good. We'll be back.

I thought the restaurant name was a bit curious when I first heard it, but it's a beautiful place and so charming. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious. Enjoy a craft cocktail beforehand. You won't be disappointed.
