I am beyond disappointed with this bakery. My husband and I ordered a $300, 6” gender reveal cake for a special family reunion, expecting a magical moment. Instead, the bakery completely ruined the surprise by placing a Post-it note on top of the box stating the cake’s color. In addition, there were pink marks on the cardboard cake board, making it impossible to miss.
We were devastated but had to put on a brave face and pretend for our family. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and their negligence took that from us.
To add insult to injury, the cake was inedible—overwhelmingly buttery and just bad. We ended up throwing most of it away. When we called expecting a full refund and a sincere apology, we were offered only 30% off a future order or a 30% refund. That’s simply unacceptable after ruining such an important occasion.
I would never trust this bakery again for any event, let alone something as meaningful as a gender reveal. If you care about your special moments, look elsewhere.

My partner found this place and bought me a strawberry birthday cake, which was fantastic for me and everyone at my party. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing, with fresh strawberries and a light, creamy frosting that wasn't overly sweet. Everyone at the party loved it.
Afterward, we went back to try other cakes. Everything was amazing. That’s when I realized it’s a low-sugar shop—probably why the cakes taste so good. As someone who doesn’t like overly sweet American cakes, this was a welcome discovery. The flavors are balanced and nuanced, allowing the natural ingredients to shine through without being drowned out by excessive sugar.

AnnTrement is one of the best dessert stores in New York City. In addition to offering the perfect flavors and textures, this place offers a wider selection of unique flavors than your average dessert store. The strawberry and mango flavored desserts are our favorite and highly recommended!！！
I ordered a Rose Lychee 6inch cake to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. It was ordered for pick up several days in advance. Unfortunately, my wife and I were very disappointed and threw away the cake after a few bites.The cake just didn’t taste good for any price, but definitely not worth $76 for a 6inch cake.
However, I wouldn’t take the time to post a 1 star review solely for bad taste. Unfortunately, the bottom layer of the cake was very hard/not fresh to the point it was hard to even cut through. It felt like it was old/left out for sometime. This is unacceptable for the price point and something I’ve never even encountered on large store brand cakes. I requested a refund, the store provided a 50% discount in response but don’t see how that compensates for what happened. It’s hard to show in a picture, but you can see the difference in the fluffiness of the top and bottom layers. I would avoid for all cake purchases.
