Lovely food all the above but no alcohol but you can bring your or buy some from the shop next door
Mediterranean food is a favorite and Bonnie's does not disappoint. Had hummus, fish tacos and falafel.... ?. I wanted to take more pics of food but we inhaled it. The codfish tacos are now a favorite.. portions are nice. Service is great. It is small place so the loud group by the window was "distracting"... but the Atmosphere had "candlelight" effect. Very nice.... I'll be back.
the best place I've ever been for Mediterranean food, all exquisite and excellent presentation, and the most important plus the service and customer care is wonderful!
I am not even a big Mediterranean food fan, but when I discovered Bennies I was HOOKED. When think about their food my mouth waters ( I'm not even kidding you.). It is fresh, the service is wonderful and the flavors are just out of this world. I am not one to rush and review for no reason , because it takes time & effort but for places a good as this, I don't even hesitate. Fantastic & worth the money( that being said the prices are actually quite reasonable). Definitely recommend. 10/10
Best Lebanese food , labnah with garlic and walnuts , liver are the best appetizer you can get , platters are delicious, portions are good enough, expect to pay over $25 for dinner
We stopped during a busy day and had the most wonderful Mediterranean food!! I couldn't believe my luck that I found the place and was leaving the same day. Bennies is ? the best.
Great coffee and falafel wrap. The design is really magic
Mediterranean salad was NOT good, tomato’s and cucumbers tasted bland / not fresh!! You could get a better quality pre-made at a grocery store. When telling one of the workers I didn’t really like the salad he replied with ‘weird, I haven’t heard that before’ and was very intimidating and passive aggressive. They cannot handle constructive criticism and it shows on his replies to 1 star reviewers here. Also, the Pellegrino listed on the menu isn’t actually Pellegrino, they give you the cheaper version ‘Perrier’ sparkling water without telling you before you order.
Made us pay $6 for two small bottles of water because they "don't serve tap water" even though we were sitting outside and it was quite hot (80+ degrees). The food was fine.
This really is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic. Great value. Can’t believe it took me so long to eat here. There is outdoor seating in front now that the weather is nice.Great spot will go again

Loved coming to Bennies, it was my first time and definitely won’t be my last. It’s BYOB and there’s a store next door that sells alcohol incase you forgot to bring. The food here is excellent and a great portion! I highly recommend the platter where you can choose 3-4 appetizers and one shish, it’s a great deal and allows you to try many different things! I ordered the chicken shish with hummus, baba ganoush and the cheese pie. All 10/10!Everything was so flavorful and extremely delicious!
Based on my takeout order I must say that we all ate spiced charcoals that resembled chicken (the ground lamb was the only one edible). The side order of fries were dumped in a brown paper bag that was dripping with oil, who would ever think to put fries in a brown paper bag?? Food for $130 was dumped into the trash.
It's quaint with a cozy and unique aesthetic. They have good vegan and vegetarian options, and it's BYOB. We went with a group of 10 and they accommodated us happily and The employees were really friendly. It's right in the downtown so there are a lot of other cool places to walk to before or after your meal. Street parking all around, But it does cost money during the prime hours of the day.
The service was okay but seriously the food was horrible! You can deff get much much better tasting and better quality food in Paterson for cheaper! This food was seriously not good.
Based on ratings, I went to Bennies wanting to treat myself to a middle-eastern dinner. Such disappointment. Spotty service is something we are almost expecting in times of Covid, but the food was awful! The shish kebab was burned, with fat and gristle. The cauliflower was cooked to death. The eggplant was unrecognizable it was so black—took some poking to discover what it was. And the pilaf was a pile of mush, grains barely recognizable. The music? All in Spanish, which is not what one wants in a Colombian or Spanish restaurant, but surely not in one that claims to be mideastern. So much for comfort food…
