First things first, I've been a customer here for a couple years and I absolutely love everything. The pastries are amazing! One of the best bakeries in NJ. However, I went in today and had a really bad experience with the service. First of all the place wasn't so busy, but a lot of order takers were there. As usual I just came up to the display of pastries and told the lady what I wanted. Instead of listening and me showing her what I wanted she asked me "what size box do you want?" I was confused as they've never asked me that before so I was like "idk but I can point to you what I want"... then she told me to order at the cash register. Never do I or any other customers do that. When it comes to bakeries, you have to order at the pastry display to point to the order taker to show them what you want. The lady became irate and so did I at that point. I had told her what I wanted too and she completely forgot it, luckily I wasn't charged for it. Other of the ladies taking the orders also looked baffled at this situation. So management, take these points of advice: 1. Don't ask "what box size"... that's for you to figure out. 2. If the customer doesn't know the name of the pastries, don't tell the customer to order at the register away from the pastry display. It was a frustrating experience. I love your pastries, but you need to improve customer service.

This place is amazing! It's always clean, nice, and neat. They offer delicious options for desserts and grab-and-go meals. I love that they have a simple yet fulfilling menu. The atmosphere is super chill and totally worth it. My family and I love to grab a few pastries to take home, and now it has become our go-to gift store. Whenever we have an event or an office meeting, we travel all the way from New City to Englewood without hesitation.The only details that sometimes disappoints us is that at the end of the day, the staff's attitude or vibe is not as nice as in the mornings. We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon

We had 2 birthday cakes for my granddaughter's birthday at my son's house in Ridgewood. Absolutely THE BEST cake I've ever had. Not too sweet, light, fresh, delicious, beautiful, perfect. Truely amazing.

Dropped by Dulce de Leche while on the road for work and it was perfect as I needed to connect to wifi and catch up on work. Bonus was grabbing a delicious caramel latte and a quick snack! Location is super spacious and service is fantastic. They have a great variety of Latin/Hispanic foods and coffees while also catering to those who may want more familiar coffees and foods as well.
