General Lee's Cauliflower (GF) - Reg
Our most popular dish. Sometimes the world is asking too much of cauliflower, but this time cauliflower asked us to be the star on the plate. General Lee pulls rank to create a superior experience to tired old General Tso. The chickens have been honorably discharged from active duty.
Crispy Spicy Mushrooms (GF) - Reg
Hon shimeji and oyster mushrooms battered and fried with crispy onions and shredded carrots all tossed in a spicy, savory caramel sauce.
LES Spring Rolls
Reuben sauce is the real hero here with flavors of Russian dressing and pastrami spices. The sauerkraut and caraway seed studded filling help to paint the full picture - standing on the corner of Houston and Ludlow of New York City, but in a spring roll.
Pan Fried Dumplings
Filled with edamame and vegetables the pan fried guys are a great addition to the pantheon of potstickers and the steam ones are for you health nuts out there.
Dirty Lo Mein - Reg
Soft, stretchy noodles and stir fried veggies dressed in a punchy ginger and soy sauce. Long noodles, long life!
Wide Rice Noodles (GF) - Reg
Flat rice noodles in a savory mushroom gravy with braised mushrooms, Chinese broccoli, and a fair amount of sauteed garlic. Crunchy fried shallots on top for a little icing on this proverbial cake.
Not Quite Beef & Broccoli (GF) - Reg
Pan roasted mushroom medley and steamed broccoli tossed in a super savory black garlic sauce. All the pleasure of the takeout classic with none of the guilt.
Cauliflower Bao Buns
Fried cauliflower tossed in the General's special sweet and tangy sauce tucked into squishy soft bao buns and topped with crunchy napa cabbage slaw.
Singapore Curry Rice Noodles (GF) - Reg
Dry stir fried noodles and veggies coated in aromatic curry with some cilantro and lime temper the heat. If you'd like them much spicier, the way Chef prefers it, please message in the special instructions, "Justin spicy."
Grand Street Soup (GF)
Soup collaboration from the kitchens of our Jewish and Chinese grandmothers. Comforting, homey broth with vegetables and herbs from both cultures. A warm hug in a cup! (GF OPTION AVAILABLE, PLEASE MESSAGE IN SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS)

Fried Rice (GF) - Reg
Creamy tofu scramble is dispersed throughout this ginger and scallion flavored rice. Barley cooked onions and iceberg lettuce add fresh texture and everything's tied together with a drizzle sweet soy sauce.
Mushroom Sloppy
The sandwich that launched a thousand Fat Choys. The home made sesame buns are a labor of love and benefit from a sourdough mother started years ago in Manhattan. The mushroom ragu is as savory as they come and the crunchy, vinegared slaw helps to balance everyone out. Named one of the 25 essential dishes to eat in NYC by the New York Times.
Smashed Cucumber Salad (GF)
A refreshing addition to any meal with a roasted sesame sauce and leopard vinaigrette, a mix of slightly sweetened soy sauce and a touch of chili oil, not enough to be spicy, but just enough to warm the cool juicy cucumbers.
Kung Pao Tots & Tofu (GF) - Reg
Salty and a little spicy with fun textures throughout. The tots are crunchy, the tofu silky with a delicate crust, and the peanuts are… peanutty. Of course we add some celery for a touch of color, a palate refresher, and to remind you that you're eating healthy vegetables.
Steamed Dumplings

BBQ Bao Buns
Roasted royal trumpet mushrooms, sweet Chinese BBQ sauce, and bright crunchy napa cabbage slaw tucked into pillowy soft steamed buns. Our take on char siu bao buns for these modern times.
The Burger
A mix of mushrooms, chickpeas, and potatoes seasoned, battered and fried, Tap30 is the official designation for this home made patty. It took many trials to get here, but WOW! It was called revelatory by a member of major food media, and we can't help but agree with her.
Banana's Rangoon
Banana and vegan cream cheese filled crispy boys served with a cinnamon and star anise caramel sauce on the side.

Crisp iceberg with a dilly garlic jade dressing. The herbs add pops of flavor and who could say no to a crunchy seasoned seed mix?

Cumin spiced Sichuan oil boosts the flavor of these fun and crunchy curlies and the sweet and sour sauce is a nice foil to refresh your palate.
Side of Bao Buns
Steamed pillowy buns.
Steamed Broccoli (GF)
Sometimes it's the simple pleasures in life. Gently steamed broccoli tossed with rich soy sauce.
Stir-fried Chinese Greens (GF)
Greens stir fried in toasted garlic oil dressed with a touch of soy sauce. The perfect accompaniment to every meal.
Kids Menu
Kids General Lee's Cauliflower (GF)
(GF) Simply fried cauliflower in our signature batter. A vegetal vehicle for ketchup or sweet soy delivery that isn't pink slime chicken nuggets.
Kids Curly Fries
What's more fun than french fries? Curly ones! Spirals are considered one of the most common shapes in nature. Out with the round pegs and square holes and in with the spiral fries and kids tummies.
Kids pan fried dumplings
A kid friendly portion of our dumplings filled with edamame and vegetables. Might we suggest some sweet soy for dipping, of course being realistic, we understand if these become the preferred method of ketchup conveyance for your little ones.
Kids Tater Tots (GF)
(GF) Maximum crunch and named after the demographic they were created for, tots. That said, we wouldn't begrudge the parent tax that comes with an order of these fried delights.
Kids Lo Mein
As a child Chef Justin would pick all of the vegetables, including pesky scallions, out of his instant ramen. While this drove his parents insane, he understands the hardships of childhood and lovingly presents kids with a solely noodle option. For more sophisticated pallets we can toss the noodles in our sweet soy sauce, *chef's kiss emoji.

Kids White Rice (GF)
(GF) Please just eat something! ANYTHING! If you starve to death they'll blame me!
Dessert
Banana's Rangoon
Banana and vegan cream cheese filled crispy boys served with a cinnamon and star anise caramel sauce on the side.

I came here for lunch with my swim team and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the company, and the food. It’s like a Chinese style Chipotle, where you can customize your own bowl or try a signature dish. The staff was super friendly and the artwork on the wall was eye catching. Would recommend coming here! The only thing is it’s a little pricey and if you want to add meat or seafood to your bowl it costs a few cents extra.

Came in for a quick to go lunch. Tried the kung pow chicken signature bowl. It was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting much, but the flavors were really good. I loved everything besides the eggplant, it was a little too greasy for me. But I’ll definitely be back and try other menu items.
