Yummy but a bit expensive
While the ice cream is delicious, $11 for a one scoop waffle cone is ridiculous. Yes, they give you a rather large one scoop, but that’s fine - give me a smaller scoop and don’t charge me this crazy price.
It's such a beautiful place. And their ice cream is extraordinary. I can't eat it anywhere else anymore.
$9 for a kids ice cream that just tastes okay is pretty insane to me. We wouldn’t go back but the service was just fine.
This place is just ok.
If I had had to give this review a tittle, it would be “come for the ice cream, pay for the landscaping”.
Prices are kind of outrageous for what you get. The totally unhelpful staff couldn’t even give me the correct lid, or napkins, as the cost of these items must come out of their paychecks.
The most helpful sign was just as you’re pulling out onto Grand Ave where they let know other ice cream places in the area; that sign should be titled “Ice cream places that taste better and are better priced than we are, but lack of landscape architecture”.
This was a one-and-done for me.
you’re an ice cream lover, this spot in Grand is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the sweet aroma of freshly made waffle cones and a bright, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a kid again. The selection of flavors is impressive—ranging from the classics like chocolate and vanilla to more creative and seasonal options you won’t find anywhere else. Everything tastes fresh and creamy, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients.
One of my favorite parts is the way they present their ice cream. The sundaes are loaded with toppings, the milkshakes are thick and flavorful, and the cones are perfectly crisp. Portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I tried the cookie dough and salted caramel swirl, and both were amazing—the perfect balance of sweet and rich without being overwhelming.
The staff is friendly and patient, even when the line is long, and they’re always happy to let you sample a flavor before deciding. The shop is clean, family-friendly, and has seating inside and out, which makes it a great place to hang out on a nice day.
Overall, this ice cream shop in Grand is more than just dessert—it’s an experience. Whether you’re stopping by after dinner, taking the kids out for a treat, or just indulging in something sweet for yourself, it’s absolutely worth the visit. I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!
As they say on their Insta, they compete on quality and not on price. They are not cheap, and their selection is not super broad, but what they have is very well done. Service is very nice and the landscaping out back is absolutely gorgeous.
Delicious ice cream!
A little bit expensive but very creamy and flavorful. Great service too!
The ice cream was delicious but no way worth two Single scoop of ice cream for $25 . I feel sorry for parents with kids .
Price is a bit high for ice cream. Not worth the price. Would not recommend.

The ice cream tastes fine, nothing special. The price is ridiculous, $9 for a kids cup. Not worth the price. You can get a whole tub of haagen daz for less than $9
Summer ICE cream retreat. Found this little ice cream place accidently. What a great accident to make. I don't remember having ice cream this good in a long time.
I would describe the taste of their ice cream as home made. Good variety of flavors. All staff here work quick and are super friendly. Beautiful seating area with some very unique landscaping. Bonus, pet friendly outdoor seating as well completes the package.
Delicious creamy ice cream, our favorite was the Cookie Monster flavor. The outdoor seating is beautiful and relaxing, so clean! 10/10 recommend!!
Best ice cream ever. Far Better than Van Leeuwen! So kind staffs!
I grew up in Leonia, but hadn't been in a few years. I took a friend visiting out of state and almost turned around when I saw the prices. $8.50 for a single kid scoop! I had been looking forward to finding a local spot as I still live nearby and often find myself driving to Glen Rock, Ridgewood or Hawthorne for fresh ice cream. I expected to pay $5-$6 for a small 2 scoop but not $9. Even though I enjoyed the ice cream itself, I don't feel its worth taking out a 2nd loan on my house to enjoy fresh ice cream once a week. 😅
