Kpot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

I’m not usually a buffet person, it always feels like I never get my money’s worth and food quality isn’t as good. But I’d been hearing a lot about this place, so I decided to give it a try. I went for lunch, and not all the menu items were available. The appetizer bar wasn’t too impressive, but the sauce bar was fun! I tried both the BBQ and the hot pot. I have to say, I preferred the BBQ. The hot pot just wasn’t that great, probably because the broth wasn’t very good. That said, the bulgogi, Kpot pork belly, and prime brisket were pretty good. I wanted to try more, but I got too full.

7/26/25 - We went to KPOT for Korean BBQ and hot pot. The food and the service were good.

Arrived at 10:01pm. Drove 30 min to the restaurant. It is written everywhere and on the door that it is open until 11pm. The worst establishment that does not value its customers

Second time being here with some friends. Our waitress Henry was absolutely a sweetheart. walked us through everything. he is funny and really sweet. i was also here monday night also (it’s thursday… that’s how fast i came back) our waitress with blonde hair braids and glasses was absolutely amazing. (sadly i forgot her name) all staff here are welcoming and food is amazing. it’s 40$ per person but unlimited food. it’s honestly so worth it. shout out KPot and shout out henry he’s a great dude

1st and last time. Service was terrible. Somehow they ran out of rice or didn’t have it and didn’t get any until towards the end. I had to come multiple times to the front to ask for assistance. Our grill even turned off and no one came to look until I made a case. This was a birthday dinner for a 12 year old mind you. It was so bad he decided he didn’t want to do anything birthday related there due to how bad things were going. I should have stuck with Cast Iron Pot and if you are smart you will ahead there.

The music was good and the atmosphere gives a relaxed vibe. The buffet food is left out and old unless its really busy And when it’s really busy, there isn’t enough food at the buffet and you have to wait for more food. The food was decent but they take forever to replace grills. They over oil the grill when they do change it causing it to smoke and get dirty again super fast. They also have a few unsanitary practices. They refill from your same cup with your straw still in it. I'm sure he confused the cups when refilling and just handed them back out as we were all drinking Pepsi. I really don’t think it’ll cost them millions of dollars by providing new straws and different cups during refills so you don’t have that unsanitary aspect They also are stingy with napkins when you ask, they only give you two at a time. The waiters are decent if you go during the weekdays early, you’ll get good service because no one is there but if you go anytime after 4 PM or on the weekends get used to using the iPad because you won’t see your server.

I am currently dining at Kpot. I was first shown this location by a friend last month and it has quickly become our go to spot. I've been back 6x since last month and I've had great meat and decent service. Today I returned and ordered the usual. Upon placing the meat on the grill I got a strong smell of old oil. I tried the meat after it finished and it tasted strong of oil. I asked for a new grill with no oil to see if it would fix the problem but I realized the meat is marinated in that same oil. I told the server of my issue and that I would not be able to eat the meat today as the oil is bad but I would pay for the buffet or something since I ate from the buffet. She said she would speak with a manager and upon return she let me know they could not accommodate me and I would have to pay full price since I had a piece of the meat to try. I was eating with my husband so it wasn't like the food would go to waste or it was not paid for I just didn't want to pay full price all you can't eat KBBQ when I had one bite of meat and two scoops of rice. I was willing to pay for the buffet or whatever price they felt the piece of meat and rice was but full price?? I've spent over $800 in this place between last month and now inviting friends to try it and celebrate here.( I have receipts) I am truly disappointed in the way this was handled and I won't be back unless I speak the owner for a proper apology and conversation.

Relaxing meal again at KPot this time in NJ. No LED but spacious layout with nice mini hood over BBQ to minimize smell while everyone has their own hotpot 😊. Very yummy and has a great time 👍 service team is excellent as usual , thanks 🙏

Came here for the first time today despite living in the area for the past five years. We were seated very quickly and our waiter was able to explain everything to us as it was our first time. The food came out quickly and it was tasty, I will say it was a bit hard dealing with the burners and grill, the temperature seemed to fluctuate and some items were not cooked even after cooking for recommended times.

The portions are HUGE so keep that in mind. Overall , a good experience and fun to do with family and friends.

Very fast service . Our server Santi was so friendly and always making sure we had our refills . Highly recommend .

The restaurant was pretty busy but my waitress Pemba did a good job of taking care of us. The food was top tier - some of the best hotpot/KBBQ I've had - and the fact that it is all you can eat makes it a much better deal than other places that charge per plate. I highly recommend this restaurant!
