The tonkotsu ramen was quite good. The broth was rich and flavorful. I like the moderate portions. Will be back to Kyou to try everything else.

The best ramen I've ever had. No exaggeration. I'm a seasoned vet in the game. And comparing it to the 10+ authentic bowls I ate in Japan or the Michelin star joint in NYC. Honestly, I rarely write reviews. This place moved me.

Not good. We came here cause we saw the tsukemen menu on the pictures here, but they already dont have all tsukemen menu, the menu is way fewer than what you see here. I ordered tonkotsu, and it has only one slice of chasiu pork, even if all the ramen i saw in the pictures here definitely has more than 1 piece. Soup is not rich.

The location for this place is very random. It's a on a busy street with zero foot traffic. With that said, I've only tried the tonkatsu ramen and it's pretty good. I would say it's one of the better ones in the area. The broth has a lot of flavor and I personally prefer yellow thin noodles vs white ones.

Without question this is the best ramen in New Jersey. I've had lots of ramen from Las Vegas to LA to NYC to Japan. My husband and I come here at least a few times a month and have never had a bad experience. The gyoza and the chashu are possibly the best we've ever had. I've had a few of the ramen choices but I've landed on the shoyu because I love how clean and beautiful it is. The broth is light, the toppings compliment perfectly, and the noodles are thin and plentiful. My husband is addicted to the tan tan men. That broth is slightly spicy, comes with ground pork, and he likes to add a couple pieces of chashu for good measure.I have to give this restaurant props for staying open during covid and during an obvious struggle to find staff. I hope they continue to fight the fight because the product is so superior to anything else in the state. I'm serious, I don't try new ramen anymore because life is too short to eat bad ramen. I'm telling you, wherever you get ramen currently... skip it for one meal and experience the beauty and deliciousness of Kyou Ramen.

First time tried Japanese Ramen First time in this Place The best thing here was the excellent customer service The server is so young but very patient and educated. He introduce me to the menu without rush and solving my questions. Today I did Tan Tan Tsukemen... delicious , perfect temperature. Huge portion, fresh ingredients, great flavor ... I really enjoyed eat this plate! Dessert?!? Machi: one from green tea and one of chocolate. This is ice cream wrapped in a soft layer of candy. not to sweet but really great To drink? I choose Calpico: non carbonated beverage of Mango. It was pretty interesting and a good option with my plate! Thank you for the great experience, guys! Blessings and keep doing great things!

Simple menu, just know most of the food on the menu is clearly ramen. If you are expecting other choices than ramen dishes be aware. Food is good and the establishment is clean.

I only tried the tonkotsu ramen, and it was amazing, I think this is the best ramen I've tried in new jersey. The noodles were soft, and the pork belly as well. But I would add an extra portion of pork belly to the ramen portion. Other than that the broth was really good, and the service was kind. Few tables and simple but nice decor.

I don’t understand how they open a ramen restaurant with no idea how to make a simple ramen. Everything in ramen is absolutely not cooked properly. The noodle came in chunks, one very tiny chashu for 16 dollar Tonkotsu ramen, soup was the WORST part of all with extra sodium (my tongue is still tingly after an hour). Honestly, this much of sodium can damage someone’s organ. I complained, and they gave me just more water. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN

Tonkotsu is over 15 bucks but the portion and quality is so low. I don't get how people can say it is delicious. Probably they have never seen what the real Ramen is.

Favorite ramen in the area! I get the tan tan ramen. I like the level of spiciness and the ground chicken.

We went twice in the span of a few days and had great meals both times. Ate in and had the pork buns (yum!) with yuzu-shoyu ramen and tonkatsu. Both were great but tonkatsu was a but spicy, but still was delicious. Second time ordered togo and this time ordered tan-tan ramen, which was good. Not too spicy - you may want to ask for more spice if you want spicy food. The vibe inside was real chill too, with a really cool sakura mural and neat anime swag.

Wonderful ramen in Englewood. Started with the pork buns and shrimp shumai, both a delicious prelude to a tasty Yuzu Shio Ramen. The ramen was flavorful, with a savory chicken broth and a hint if yuzu coming through. The noodles were cookedjust right, and the pork was perfectly tender. The server was kind and attentive. Would highly recommend a visit here, as it's definitely one of the best in the area.

I got the tan tan ramen, and it was delicious. The soft boiled egg was perfectly cooked—which is a big deal for me because many places over/undercook it. Our server’s name was Kiren, and he was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.
