I have been here a dozen times and the food never disappoints. The only thing I have noticed recently is that the portions are smaller on certain items like the torta and the croquetas are basically miniatures. Luckily the taste is still the same but you no longer get the same bang for your buck, although they are well priced. The wait staff is patient and professional. Cozy atmosphere, good drinks and good food, whats not to love?
We visited on a whim - it was too hot to contemplate cooking at home. It was noonish, and the restaurant was quiet. Entering from the hot bright sun into a cool bar entrance with dark panels set the mood for an old school establishment. Specials were on a chalk board. But we'd settled on tapas. Soccer, good sangria, tapas, yes please! I love this place. Been going here regularly for nearly a decade. The staff is wonderful. Jose is amazing. Always attentive, always polite, always accommodating. The food is great. If you have a show at Bergen Pac and are looking for great food, good service, and tasty cocktails, stop here first!
