I gave my daughter a 30th birthday dinner tj’s and it was amazing from the food to the planning and decorations, I did not have to worry, Tia listened to everything I wanted and she came through. My guest left happy and full and the birthday girl had a a wonderful time.

Very cozy little restaurant, nice decor, great location and very sweet waitress Lina!! Mac&cheese and potato salad where good and so was the cornbread, nothing great but good. The chicken wasn’t fresh and the flounder had great seasoning but was old and fishy. We barely ate anything and had to go somewhere else and pay more money, but this time we went for a sure thing where food quality is more important than saving a dollar. They should do a better job ordering so the quality of the ingredients they are using don’t spoil or near spoil. Sometimes u get a bad dish and u give another try because it just might not be the right dish for you, but if there is a question about the quality of ingredients then it doesn’t matter what I order unless it’s fried which hides aged foods. Will not eat here again which is unfortunate because I was really excited for great southern food.

Amazingly Delicious! If you haven't gone please do yourself a favor and go!!! Went for the first time today and I will definitely be back. It's like you're sitting at your Grandma's table having some good southern soul food! I ate EVERYTHING on my plate and if you get rice get the gravy! Best Half & Half around 95N! ?

Walk by the store front and said let me give it a try.The food was amazing we had the fried chicken with gravy and the meatloaf mash and mac and cheese, cabbage and rice with peas the food was amazing really no complains its taste like a home made meal.With your meal you will get a peace of Cornbread ??? by far the best I have had eveeeerWill be back for sure.The place is small but very neatly keep so don’t be shy and dine in.

I went for dinner and the food was very good. The portions were huge and the prices low. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. The waitress/cashier was extremely nice. I definitely recommend this place. When I'm back in the area in 2 weeks, I'm going back for breakfast.

I went here couple years ago when they first open ordered yams and collards for my Thanksgiving dinner at my house the pan they gave me was a big pan but didn't fill the entire pan. Next time I visited I ordered fish and the smell of the fish was terrible I couldn't even eat it. Wasted my money. Some of there sides are good though.
So far I have not been disappointed. The fried whiting was fresh and tasty. The collard greens, potato salad, and mac n cheese were delicious. I travel from another town just to get the food! Keep up the good work
