I can't say anything about service or ambiance. But my daughter who is celiac was invited to a girls birthday party to Aunt butches and was told they had gluten free pasta. When she got there and asked the waittress if was 100% GF, the waittress said "no it's both". Soooo its not 100% gluten free! That's very concerning, the staff needs to know what's gluten free. So she can't have the pasta. She then tells her the only thing she can have is the grilled chicken with broccoli. Great! She had that and they bring it with a risotto cake, that's breaded and deep fried. So she had to send that back too. Staff needs to get educated on what's gluten free and what's not. Luckily she knew the right questions to ask and she didn't get ill. But if you have celiac or have a gluten allergy, find another restaurant!

Went there tonight for the first time. The appetizers were delicious. Main course I order a special halibut with clams and mussels. When it came out the fish was dry and there was no seasoning. I took 2 bites told the server it was dry. Then I guess the owner or his partner came over put his hand on my shoulder. I did not like his hand on my shoulder cause I don’t know you. After he apologize and offer something else I decline. When I got the check they still charge me for the dish. 43.00 dollars for the dish and I had 2 bites of it. Needless to say I will not be going back to that place. Big disappointment to me.

Great experience. The stuffed meatball appetizer is a must. My pasta with mussels was delicious. The mussels were the best I had at a restaurant. Service was very attentive. I would definitely go back again. Be sure to bring cash as the 4% credit card charge is annoying.

The service was just ok, had to ask 3 or more times for more bread. The food was mediocre and the noise level was not conducive to fine dining. We ordered from the Tuesday specials menu but if we wanted salad, a salad was more than our entree. Don't plan on returning.

Everything was great. Just I do not like having to order the apps and main meal at the same time. I like to be able to sit a bit longer that was a bit frustrating as soon as we finished the apps the main meal came out. But otherwise food and service where great.

It's a nice family style Italian restaurant that accommodates a large party for dinner. My kids enjoy it and run to the bakery area to choose their favorite dessert. The service was always great and we never waited long to be seated or served.

My family had a christening party for my granddaughter yesterday 4/7/24. It was by far the best food, best service and hospitality that anyone could have asked for. The entire staff was tremendous. The food was plentiful and delicious. A special thanks to the boss (Tommy) who treated us like family. Have your next event at Aunt Butchie's. You will not be disappointed!!

All of the food was amazing. The pork chop was the best! The people were amazing and super nice to my daughter who just had a gymnastics competition! Made her feel special! Thank you!

After reading reviews from others, I was excited to try this restaurant, unfortunately, I was not impressed at all! They were out of the appetizer that I ordered and it took them a few minutes to come back and let me know. No problem, I chose a different one (stuffed zucchini flowers) and they were delicious. I ordered halibut for dinner and, once again, was told 5 minutes later that they didn't have halibut. I ordered filet of sole limoncello as an alternate. It was soggy and drowning in a mediocre sauce. My husband ordered filet mignon and he had to saw through it with his knife. He said that it may have been the worst filet he's ever eaten. Lastly, we each ordered desserts and guess what, they were out of one of them and didn't know that when they were taking our order at the table. Once again, a few minutes later, we found ourselves looking for a replacement. Each time the waitress apologized. I felt bad for her since it wasn't her fault. There were a lot of empty tables at 6:00 on a Friday night so maybe that should have been some indication that the place is not that great.

I live 200 yards away from AB and how lucky to have AB at my doorstep. Their food is always fantastic , portions are good size and present well. I ordered in last night (3/23) and had a large order. Didn’t disappoint and everyone was delighted to dig in. The best part about AB are the staff. Young women at the front are always delightful and engaging. Sure some experience less than stellar service at other establishments when the servers think or act like they are doing you a favor; this doesn’t happen at AB. Everyone has a smile, thank you are abundant and positivity abundant. I frequently dine out for work and always compare to AB. AB holds its own always!!

Our Server was great! I suggest the ravioli in Marinara! The sauce is great and I'm a forst and second generation Italian. No jar sauce here! The atmosphere is a little too open. They can do with some separation for a little privacy.

We went here for lunch. Wasn’t too busy as it was st Patrick’s day. I had the chicken tortellini and a rice ball. Other people had there sandwiches which look great and were good from what I was told. The other person in our partner the diatilini and peas which was great. My only gripe was that the pasta and peas was almost thirty dollars. Kind of insanely expensive. But the reason you go out is for the experience. The other plus of the pace is they are origins a bakery and all of there deserts are homemade.

Aunt Butchies in Manalapan, NJ, offers wonderful service, food, and desserts that truly delight the taste buds. However, our dining experience was slightly marred by a nearby table with two loud small children. While I don't blame the kids, it was evident that their parents could have been more attentive and less absorbed in their cell phones. Despite this, the overall dining experience at Aunt Butchies was still enjoyable.

The restaurant uses open table, which is great because I don't like to wait too long to eat. They serve various Italian dishes in a traditional and delicious way. You must order your whole meal (appetizers and entrées) at once. *surcharge for using a credit card. *BYOB for the drinkers. * Bakery in the front. Desserts cost more to eat in the restaurant than to go. * Portions are a good size. * Free parking lot in front of the restaurant. * Acoustics aren't the best, so you will hear everyone's loud conversations. * Food is delicious. Definitely order the (giant) meatball appetizer.
