I recently visited Doner House, and unfortunately, it was the worst doner experience I’ve ever had. The meat was not fresh, tasted terrible, and the portions were incredibly disappointing. I ordered both a regular and a large doner but received the same small amount of meat for each, with hardly enough on the $20 plates to justify the price.
A proper doner should be thinly sliced, juicy, and tender. Instead, we were served dry, thick-cut pieces that were hard to chew and tasted old. The quality was so poor that we left most of our food on the plate and left the restaurant.
This place seems more focused on cutting costs than delivering quality or quantity. I had high hopes and was eager to try something new, but I left deeply disappointed. Do yourself a favor: if you want to enjoy real doner, don’t stop here. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
