Called in at 7:53 for pickup on a Sunday. Counter guy screwed this 1st time experience up. Didnt pay attention to order, 3 orders ready in 15 min? Inaccurate, small portioned entrées, They left right behind me after pickup?.? Called 8:25; left vm. 75$ order 1 app 2 entrees; I messed up not getting a detailed reciept. We'll see if a manager calls me back.

WOW did this place go down the Tubes order a Panini and they couldnt even spare the chicken or Balsamic vinegar. I also ordered Penne al fortno - Not all that Great had way to much salt and they didnt even give out any bread. I used or order from them alot no more ,

Update to last review....haven't been at Maietta's in a while. Husband surprised me after long day. Very quiet. Owner was bar tending, waiting table and chatting with friends. Restaurant had been updated and owner, Andrea, stated there was more to come with the Restaurant's design and Italian menu. We ate the seafood special (apologies, can't remember the name). They made a gluten-free option for me. It was outstanding!!!! Shrimp, Scallops, Bacon, mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. They were tossed in a light delicate cream sauce. Cannot describe how delicious it was. Large portions. Have lunch for tomorrow. We enjoyed some wine and joked with the owner and his friends. Not cheap! However, neither is the quality of food!!!! There are cheaper options. Full bar. Have tv's for sports. So convenient in Englishtown!. Support this local, family owned restaurant! You won't regret it! Thanks for a great night, Andrea!

I have been here many times. Food and service is great. The pizza is awesome.
I don't like eating italian food out, because I am italian and it's not the same as home made italian food. This is the first Italian restaurant I ate in that tastes like real italian food. Not only is the food delicious the owner Cheeto goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. I not only eat dinner here, we also have our parties here. Everyone of our guests also fall in love with the Food, atmosphere and Cheeto. This restaurant is worth every penny spent. So if you want real italian food and to feel welcomed, I suggest you dine at Maietta's. Thank you Cheeto for your hospitality and good italian food.
First time eating here, it is a quaint little place. I wasn't expecting live music but it was a welcome ambiance. Food was great, portions were very good. I got the chicken francese, my favorite go and got two large chicken breasts. Our waitress was young and didn't know the answer to a couple of the questions from our party but knew who to ask and quickly got back to us, so credit to her. The dessert cannoli was one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely come back.
Parking: Small limited lot on parking, maybe 8-10 spaces, otherwise it is street parking.
