I know this restaurant has changed hands - why do I know? The rice per main order is now half the size, the Samosas were like brick pastry and there was no spices in little plastic cups, the Chicken Tikka Masala was worst than Mrs Kumar's in Monroe NJ. Overall a very very disappointing experience. Also, their now open 7 days a week, no more Mondays off. Not that I will be going back after supporting them for past 4+ years. Damn Shame.

We thought it was good food for a good price. The lunch buffet was fair and the selection was pretty good. We will be back.

I stopped in for the all you can eat lunch buffet. A great selection and everything was delicious, especially chicken tandoori, vegetable pakoras (vegan), naan, vegetable sautee (zucchini, peppers, etc), basmati rice, gulab jamun. I'm used to gulab jamun warm with syrup but here served cold/room temperature without syrup. Just as delicious even so. I will definitely come again. That tomato soup was a standout. Compliments to the chef.

Another reviewer noted a definitive change for the worst in the quiality of the food - commenting that "Chicken tikka masala is like tomato soup." Substitute "fish" for "chicken" and I agree completely. A shame. Used to be our go-to local Indian restaurant, but something changed over the last 5 or 10 or so months. Our appetizers, breads, other entrees... all suffered in comparison to our past visits.

This place is total garbage. The dishes are small, expensive and taste stale and old. I ordered the chicken tika masala and I could believe the chicken was leftover from the afternoon buffet.

Also the only COLD drink you can get is water.... they do not have a refrigerator and give warm cans of soda.

This small "out of the way" restaurant is in a small strip mall off of route 9 in Manalapan. It's probably one of the best kept secrets when it comes to food freshly prepared, and like " homemade". The restaurant offers a lunch buffet (great introduction to Indian cuisine if you are not familiar with it ) that includes both vegetarian and meat dishes, simply presented emphasizing the individual flavors and colors of the Indian cuisine. No fancy displays...just simply presented delicious food! The staff is minimal, and the space is small, although homey and inviting. There is plenty of parking and easy to get to. Menu prices are very reasonable. Quality is excellent! This is one of my favorite places to eat, Worth the 35 minutes it takes me to get to!

Vegetarian options: paneer curry, paneer dishes, lentils, vegetable pakoras, aloo Chana are some of the delicious dishes offered

Chicken tikka masala is like tomato soup. Chicken briyani is dry and missing ingredients. They were once a good restaurant, but now they use cheaper ingredients and terrible style.
